Did she see Charlie hanged?
And poor Charlie. He promised he would protect her. I'm sure she'd understand if she saw his dead hanging body...

I'm going to guess no. There were two trails - - I think "they" probably split Charlie & Claire up. Jack & Kate were on Charlie's trail, hopefully Locke & Boone are on Claire's...

Like Lia2141 said in the "Ethan, Claire and Jack" thread, I think it makes a lot of sense that Charlie was drugged. Maybe it was just the whole not dying thing (LOL) but Charlie sure seemed awfully out of it... and if Ethan has anything to do with Danielle, he could have access to the same sedatives that she has.

I'm thinking Charlie will start remembering eventually... I'm also thinking that Ethan had help whether Charlie and/or Claire were drugged or not... and that Charlie and Claire were separated and thus the two trails.

But oh man... if Claire did see Charlie hanged... *shudders*

Good thought there. I wondered if when they heard Claire scream, it was her watching them hang Charlie. It was not long after that Ethan threatened Jack, then he finds Charlie and was able to save him-so he was not up there that long. It all happened pretty fast.

well, Charlie could have been blindfolded and that would explain why he didn't see anything.

remember how Ethan threatened Jack? perhaps Ethan threatened Charlie in the same manner (i.e. "If you come after her, I'll kill her") it's obvious that he's smitten with her, and he wouldn't do anything to bring her harm. let's just hope Locke (and Boone, yay!) get to have a spectacular rescue scene.
