yeah i was wondering how she knew they were coming...as far as i know there is one monster...but i wonder what "the others" are...others would imply multiple personalities, be it multiple monsters or multiple people...i hope its people because multiple monsters would make it sort of silly...like having 3 Godzillas

Maybe "they" come every year just before the monsoon season. Here's a question: why come to the camp and issue a warning? She's never wanted to visit the camp before. Ulterior motives? Is it because she wanted to scope out any possible signs of "infection" before the raft sets sail? Or did she just want another bear hug from Hurley? ;D

Not an arguement, more of a curiosity question:

Why are the previews that air at the end of a show considered spoilers?* Do people really turn off the set as soon as the show is over to avoid seeing them?* Aren't these "teasers"?

I look forward to that preview almost as much as the actual episode, but I guess some people don't watch them. Whats her name the administrator has said that the preview for the episode that has not aired IS spolier info.

I remember reading that, but I assumed (and we know where that gets you) that the previews in question were the ones online, that can be found at Yahoo, and go into greater detail than the end of the show teasers.

I watched the preview after the epi BTR aired and I didn't see a lot of what people are talking about.

I didn't see any:

exploding raft, "others", black smoke...none of that.

I want to though, but I guess it would be considered a spoiler for those who don't want to see it.

Where can I find this all inclusive episode preview/trailor?

The black smoke was mentioned in the Canadian trailer and on the 'call sheet'. which is a thread of mine in the spoiler section. I'm not sure if the Canadian trailer is online or not.The exploding raft I know nothing about.

I'm still under the impression that Dannelle is kinda crazy... however from what I know I would start running if she came into camp... mainly cause if I was a survivor of the crash and suddenly after 38 days on the island someone i'd never met before just walked into camp i'd freak.

and yes all previews regardless of where they are on the TV or online are considered spoilers
until the eppy actually airs.

while i do not agree with this posters method for describing not wanting to be spoiled,
there is a place for spoilers to be posted.* and if you are going to post spoilers in the regular
forums they MUST be spoiler fonted.* so that a poster can choose whether to highlight and read
the spoiler or not.* if it is out in the open, then they can accidentally read them.

I agree with you Halfrek. I use spoiler font but I still like to be spoiled even if its something I don't like to read. Thanks for posting that. :)

I don't think Ancientwanker was upset by your post Michelle Friday, you clearly labeled the thread "Preview..." meaning it is about the preview .
He/She (and myself for what its worth) is upset that nachosgrande did'nt think before posting a spoiler (something NOT in the preview) without spoiler fonting it ruining the surprise for people who don't read the spoilers but do watch the previews.

I love this board! I love that the moderators keep things civil for all of us. It's that kind of quality that makes this my first stop for my insatiable LOST appetite (outside of the actual show, of course). I know it's been said alread, but thanks again, mods. :D
