OK, for those of you staying around through Monday night at least, there will be a big Hollywood Premiere at Grauman's Chinese for the Prince of Persia. This is a fundraiser for AFI, so if you'd like to go, you can, for just $250 per person.

Now, if that's a bit too pricey, there is a secondary event going on at the Mann Chinese 6 next door, with several of Jerry Bruckheimer's films screening, all introduced by some of the stars of the films. I've already got myself a ticket for Pirates of the Caribbean, but there are several other films to choose from and the tickets are just $30 and come with popcorn and a soda.

Just something very Hollywood to do on Monday night.

Hmmmmm. What does "Business Attire" mean for the Dress Code?

Hmmmmm. What does "Business Attire" mean for the Dress Code?

That's for the big premiere, and means exactly what it sounds like. Business Attire, people do tend to dress up when attending a premiere. The other films won't have that requirement. Now, in Hollywood, business attire can be dark jeans and a sports coat.

And yes, they tend to have grandstands set up to watch the arrivals for the premiere, it will be a circus, so you want to get into the area early in the day in order to do that. You'll notice them setting it up all weekend long.

I'm still waiting to see what guests Craig Ferguson will have for the Monday tapings, but this might be doable if I go to the 3:00 one. Wish the Top Gun screening had more star power though. Val Kilmer would have been nice.

It's a safe bet Kimmel won't be taping that night, since these are at the Grauman's Chinese, the Mann Chinese 6 and the El Capitain,it will make the Kimmel theater all but impossible to get to.

It's going to be an absolute riot out there, with tons of people trying to get in. Thank goodness we are at the hotel there and can just walk in, but zoo comes to mind.

?? I know Jimmy has nothing scheduled for Monday, that's why I said Craig Ferguson.

CBS studios aren't so terribly far away, so that would let me get back in time to do one of the screenings, if that's what I choose to do. They may sell out before I am up for committing, I suppose.
