I just rewatched " The Substitute " and I know Flocke tells Sawyer the reason they have been brought to the island is because they are candidates and I think that is a really cool explanation but I want to know why the Losties? If Jacob wanted to bring a bunch of people of different race,religon,age,etc to the island to prove people could live together and not destroy then I get it but Jacob could've picked anyone so why the Losties? Will there be more of an explanation or is what we have gotten it?
