This has to be a big reveal. I mean, Christian Shepard's missing body has been there since the beginning, and they specifically reference it missing in the Alt world in the first episode.

Well, if Jacob could take his form, I assume he is dead on the island somewhere. I like to think that the polar bear Sawyer shot was feasting on dad's remains and ate him all up. It is easier if we make up random answers like the writers made up random questions.

Christian's body is still on the island. As are Libby, Ana Lucia, Boone, Shannon, and everyone else that died on the island.

It's not really important WHERE the body is. The point is it has gone missing. In order to take their forms MiB needs their body. Exactly how or what he does with it isn't really the point. The other proof of this is Yemi's body also went missing after just before he appeared to Mr Eko. Remember that the smoke monster was scanning Eko. MiB realised that Eko had a connection to Yemi so this is why he took that body.
