I'm loving it so far...lots of information. Also, it looks like The Man Without a Name was right about his mother being crazy.

That was a bit of fairies and unicorns for me. Anyone agree. I expected to see butterfly's start flying about. Well anyway.....that's where the competition between the TWIN brothers begins. One will be a good twin and one will, of course, be "the bad twin"! And the plot deepens, muahahahahaha.

Where the myths come from

I feel as though they are using this episode..thus far of course..to show us the twin brothers and all the dualities that come with that, something i feel we all knew already..
I'm waiting for something more somehow.

Jacob's child actor looks soo much like him, They did a fantastick job at that. :)

I think the kids playing jacob and MiB are very well cast. They seem to catch little mannerisms well. I usually find shows have trouble finding people that you can believe grow up to their adult selves.

What was fairies and unicorns? The light? It fits in perfectly with the frozen donkey wheel tech. ;)

I think this is a lot more complex than good twin/bad twin...and even the psychopathic mom has something important that she is protecting. I'm finding this very interesting, especially since we have been talking about Jacob/MIB and their inscrutable motives for so long. :)

Maybe MiB's judgement of Lock as a loser is a reflection of knowing that they both fall for the same line.

Almost too much information! WOW have the powers that be given us a doozy of an epi? Dual murders by "mother" but she wants to keep jacob "good" to guard the light. Where's the light from??? And HOW does boy2 know about the wheel? Has he had a visitor from the future?? Questions answered, questions raised!! I love this show!!;)

I agree, great casting for the boys...and acting-wise, I also have to say that Mark Pellegrino is playing Jacob a bit differently, I think--which makes me think that the idea that at least some incarnations of the Jacob we have seen have been the MIB has merit...the mannerisms are different.

don't know why but I just had an image of Hurley hanging out in front of the cave with the light when Jacob and Mom walk up. Hurley turning around and saying "Dude!..., want some chicken" offering him some McClucks

First theory for "the light": it leads to Mr. Cluck's. Hurley is the heart of the show, right? :)

Okay, so what powers does jacob and his mom have. One of them (or both) wipe out a whole camp. plus fill a well full of dirt (although a mundane task not a quick one to for 1 or 2 people)

She knew this was going to happen. He's going to turn the MIB into the Smoke Monster.

A MrClucks on the island. of course. If hurley ends up replacing jacob, he won't be able to rely of dharma drops forever. And the island gave hurely the numbers so that he could win the lottery so that he could afford the franchise. I thnk we has solved Lost
