I just figured it was the trend of hardly anyone being where they were supposed to be or even near where they were supposed to be.

Since it's his child, I would guess if Dim knows, he'll make a detour. However, Janis is tough and she might not say anything. I'm trying to imagine Dim leaving her at the hospital by herself and have trouble doing that but I can see him doing that over letting Simon go. Hunh...I may have to think on this a little more.

If I had to make a guess and especially now that the series is over, I'd say it's possible (now) that Dem dies taking Simon to NLAP and Janis is taken to get her ultrasound but as Guinevere mentioned we are already seeing supposed changes from the October 6 flashforwards. It would be shocking to see Dem fall to fate minutes before the others see their futures. Something extraordinary should be happening at NLAP as I don't just see that the 10:00-10:02:17 time frame will pass without something a lot bigger happening, even with the series being forced to wrap up. Simon might still text Lloyd from NLAP also but where might Mark be to take Lloyd's call? What if from the viewpoint of April 29 Demetri dies but we see him pop backwards to be across from where Mark is strapped in his car upside down (in a sense still living perpetually)? Perhaps Simon blows NLAP up and that is the catalyst to bump us back to the pilot but I see us circling back to the series beginning in some manner. If Dem buys the farm then we see a reason for Janis to cry and to allow for Zoey's memorial to go forth right on schedule. Of course we are all thinking of the possibilities while knowing the events of the last episode are staring us down. Dang but this is exasperating as I so much wanted to see more seasons of this great series. :frown:

It would be great if they leave us with the options that those who have died were alive and well in another iteration.

Another ending, albeit tragic, if only Charlie and Dylan survive to start over (as in Knowing). I could see the very end being a hazy image of Charlie and Dylan sharing cookies and playing together in a beautiful grassy field.

I'm going to peak in on the East Coast thread. ;)
