So the series that was teaching us dullard homo sapiens about nifty topics like quantum entanglement is gone. Real life cannot be canceled by the network however and takes over to teach us new and interesting things (http://io9.com/5555074/soon-you-might-be-able-to-see-quantum-entanglement-for-yourself) about the world we live in.

Speaking of real life, I'm finding it hard to care about FF's troubles when we have this abomination going on with BP in the gulf (among other things). Ironic that so many people can get mobilized to protest a TV show cancellation, but the same people probably wont get off their duffs to rally against the worst man-made environmental disaster in recorded history.

Ouch! I can't believe. I'd finally found some show to move over Lost and it's already gone??? :-(

Yes, ABC said it wasn't happy with the overall viewing numbers so they canceled it. So sad, as it was a great story that had a lot left to show us I think. :frown:

As for "FlashForward," Borsiczky admitted she was still disappointed to see the show not make it to a second season. The ABC drama's exec producers were hopeful up until the last minute that it might come back.

"Right up until the final hours, there was still hope for season two," she said. "So we had a lot of ideas. But I felt like we got to give a really climactic end to season one. It was a true labor of love, but we've all had to take a beat and move on."

Borsiczky said she was impressed to see fans recently stage protests in front of ABC offices (and on YouTube) in which they feigned a blackout for 2 minutes and 17 seconds like the show's characters.

"It moved me, that one season of our show affected people that way," she said. "It made me want to call each one of them and tell them our plans for season two."

Well people are outraged about that but what good is yelling going to do? If they could plug it up, they would have done so already. At least trying to save FF is something possible to do.

And I can't believe FF got cancelled but V will continue. Really?

Great for sharing that here Sam. I saw it today on Twitter and thought it was great news for her. And Jessika, my phone number is... ;)

If the show does not return I'd love to see a graphic novel of it that lays out what was going to happen.

Oh, and on other news Brannon Braga will be co-exec producing Terra Nova for release next year on Fox. I have a sneaking suspicion that if that show runs for multiple seasons that even though the colony is placed in a time before Man's emergence it will still turn out to be the seed that becomes humanity in the first place. I believe I did enough research on FlashForward to know that Brannon likes time travel and retrocausality loops too much to not plug one in on Terra Nova.

I'm not familiar with the show, but that's almost exactly what happened at the end of Battlestar Galactica.

I got distracted from the last several seasons of BSG so didn't know that. Don't spoiler-worry over me though. I'll eventually get around to watching them all.

Here's a link (http://www.fox.com/programming/shows/?sh=terra-nova) to a synopsis of the show. Steven Spielberg is connected and as I mentioned it also has Brannon Braga as an exec-producer among others. Jason O'Mara from Life on Mars is getting the lead part. I'm a fan of his and help with a LoM fan club so this new show is piquing my interest as it is combining talent from two of my favorite shows of the last several years.

Co-showrunner of FlashForward Lisa Zwerling has moved to Universal Media Studios and will be a consulting producer for NBC's The Event, which I will be following with great interest. It has the look of a Lost/FlashForward mystery-serial, which the networks have said they are phasing out in favor of more profitable episodic/procedurals. Here is the full article on Lisa Zwerling and I wish her all the best.

"Resigned" lol
Encouraged to resign would be closer to the mark, I would think.
Not too little but definitely too late.
I wonder if this will deflate McPherson's ego?
Nah.....I'm sure his 'golden parachute' will suffice to salve any temporary bruises.

Not sure I quite believe that ABC is the ONLY major network that saw a decline in audience last year but then I don't believe most of what I see in the media but that's just me.

I missed Sunday night's episode of Rubicon but luckily they are showing it again as I write this (on a commercial break). I loved the "Moro Islamic Liberation Front" and stifled a laugh just like the characters. Until NBC's The Event next month this is my favorite thing to watch now that FF is grounded.

Thanks Sam, beema gave me a tap on the shoulder earlier tonight. Nice to see Too2 there as well as she expertly found my 10/6 clue of the Mad Hatter being GBO day. To me it more than anything seemed to back my Lewis Carroll theme running inside of FF.

I just wanted to add here that Ryan Wynott (Dylan Simcoe) is now on TheCape. For me it's a double bonus as Jennifer Ferrin from ABC's Life on Mars is also on the show. These are my two very favorite shows.

Well, here is a movie that brings up the "fate vs. free will" topic that was part of FlashForward.

The Adjustment Bureau (http://www.theadjustmentbureau.com/).
