I just found out that my 18-year-old cousin was in a car accident a little more than an hour ago. She was sent to the hospital and apparently the crash was pretty bad. From what I have heard so far, she broke a lot of her bones and is now being sent into surgery. I would appreciate it very, very much if you could all pray for her and keep her in your thoughts. Thank you.

I'm in the health-care field so I know the first few hours are dicey,
but it sounds like she is exactly where she needs to be right now.
I'm praying that the Surgical and Post-Op Teams will be at their best as well.
Keep us up to date on the latest ok?

Well, my grandmother just called to inform us that her first surgery went fine.... They were able to fix her pancreas and liver which were both damaged. Next they're going to try to get her legs back together which were, my mother said, "shattered". Both of her arms are broken, but her head is fine. I'm really still in a state of shock. I saw her just today. Thank you for your thoughts and prayers, and please keep them coming!

(sorry for the double-post)
The latest news is that everything overnight went fine... She's okay, she will probably be in the hospital recovering for a few weeks (The accident was pretty bad) but everything should be fine now. Thanks for your thoughts and prayers, I know they were heard! :)

^ ^ ^ ^ That is great news. I imagine the rehab will be very hard work,
but it is really wonderful to hear there was no further damage.
I will continue keep your cousin and the whole family in my prayers.
