God's tom

I was going along with the ride just fine 'till they switched to animation, and I thought:
"Whoever wrote this WAS on LSD!
My guess is that Leonard Nimoy didn't want to do any physical acting, but was willing to lend his voice.
I'm disapointed that they didn't get his psyche into the computer - there was a lot of potential for his character that's lost now.
However - seeing Peter (and even better - Broyles) on LSD were probably the greatest comedy moments of the season!:rotflmao2:

I think it was supposed to be weird. I loved ti! And, yes, I had the same thought about Nimoy not being there physically. Maybe it was cheaper for them to have him voiceover instead. It sure made for a trippy episode, though!
Regarding the computer, I'm kind of glad that didn't happen. It would have been too cliche. But it would have been fun to see some "Packard-Bell" moments. :D
Also, did anyone else notice that Bell was drinking McCutcheon Whiskey in his office??

It was most definitely a weird episode but I loved it and Fringe has always been pretty trippy. I really enjoyed the way Bell was killed off by his selfless actions. The whiskey being McCutheon was a great catch Chef Hurley.

Totally trippy episode and I loved it. Cartoon Peter fighting zombies on a roof for absolutely no reason other than it's awesome, had to be my favorite bit.
So who was the guy on the Zeppelin? I thought this was one of those fun, but "throw away" episodes up until Olivia said the was the one that was going to kill her. Bell said he imagined he was someone unpleasant from her past as well.

Maybe he is the one who will kill her, but remember...There's more than one of everything. ;)

It was Brown Betty with an editor that likes animae and sci-fi versus music.

I was all prepared for it to just be kind of weird, but I really liked it. For one thing, the animation was hilarious, but also necessary. After all, can you imagine Walter and Bellly really climbing up ropes and riding motorcylcles? The animation was a cool way to get around some physical limitations.
Poor Astrid (Astro) trying to keep all of the trippers in their seats. Peter was hilarious. Broyles also. Walter didn't seem all that different (guess that makes sense).
Not just a throw away episode. Peter's recognizing that Olivia wasn't really Olivia by looking into her eyes helped to reestabliish some trust between Olivia and Peter (they are going to need it soon, I think).
And the foreshadowing about the man who is going to kill Olivia . . .
And Bell has passed the baton on to Walter, saying that he has learned humility now.
Funniest line in the whole episode: Peter saying, "He's bald. I think he's an Observer!" about Broyles.
