Here's what I think. John Locke is actually a really rich guy who created the entire island, it's games, it's animals, the people..etc. HE did this for his own enjoyment. He loves games. Has anyone seen THE VILLAGE? In this movie, everyone who lived in the community had NO IDEA that they were living in the 21st century. They thought they were living in the early 1800's. The village or ISLAND was created by a scientist and his "team" because they wanted to create their own world. I believe that JOHN LOCKE is trying to create his own world with his rules, his games and his "sides." Now Jack is on the other side of his alleged "war". He has created the perfect living game of RISK. Remember how LOCKE'S richy-rich daddy would take him hunting in the woods and he lived in that killer estate? I think that LOCKE is actually crazy and created his own island of fun and games. HIS Island...HIS rules....HIS game.

Interesting idea, but I just don't see it myself. Locke worked for a box company prior to his oceanic flight, and his dad basically stoled his kidney , he didn't get to stay in that house or get any money from his dad besides his hospital bill being paid. And well I am a huge Locke fan and I just cannot picture him doing anything like this.

I agree, JA. Although, it's certainly an intriguing idea. I could totally see a fanfic written along these lines!

it really is a cool idea but..........(sry) come on. A little out there, just it wouldn't make a good story. too confusin.
