Karri,

I have thought about something. I know I have a few topics that I have started that are now out of date for one or another reason (either the questions were solved, or no use anymore, etc). Could you give an option for users to lock their topics?
This is just something to think about. It could prevent the boards from overfloating (with the constant growing of the membership, it is getting harder and harder to swim through all the posts); the locked topics could be automatically put at the end of the section.
On the other hand, I can see only one problem with this. If other users want to continue the discussion, they might be opposed to the locking of the topic (but it doesn't seem a huge problem to me).

Just something to discuss. What do you think?

Well if people are still posting in them instead of new topics, then there still has to be interest. Of course they can always start a new topic. Ok lets give it a try. I have turned on the ability to lock your own topic for the upper level members. If I start getting lots of complaints we can look at it again.
