As we saw in her backstory, she was wearing some very flashy, but nice clothes. On the island, Jin is always telling her to button up or cover up. What has changed that Jin is all over her about covering herself up when we saw that he didn't have a problem at the beginning? Just thinking outloud here. 8)

I was kind of thinking about this in your other thread about stuff we didn't know before that we know now...
Maybe since Jin knows this Hawaiian shirt guy is/might be around, he doesn't want it to get back to her father that he's in anyway letting her be "indecent"

i doubt that. *I just think that as time progressed their relationship was getting worse and worse....And when they got stranded on the island Jin was nervous and didn't know how to act in front of everybody else so he became very bossy. *But now that he's used to everybody and he respects Sun for who she really is, there sohuldn't be that problem anymore.

Another thing that changed about Sun is her power and she always steals the scenes!! i love it. She has so much determanation. *And she's not afraid to say what's on her mind!!

he was probably being a bit of both!! in the beginning of the show, he seemsed like a really mean and horriblwe husband. But now he seems much more relaxed and easy-going. I think that after he realized he was finally free from his father in law he didn't have to wrry about all the prevous prblems he had and all the stress, so he mellowed out. Also, i think their seperation actually HELPED them grow to love each other more!!! Now their in love and thwy reaspect each other for who they are.

Also if he is afraid of HS guy, he doesn't want to appear that he has changed at all, hence the fight for the watch, so the guy desn't go back and tell daddy in law that Jin is about to take a run for it...
I also think she started changing long before they even got on the plane. *I think Jin is the one with the significant change since the crash... now we know a lot why he is the way he is. *I really like these characters now, Jin is so conflicted - I mentioned in another thread that hehas now become the father he was ashamed of, becoming a fisherman/boatsman- He was a poor man wanting so badly to be a rich man for the woman he loved. *He gave up a lot of his soul for her. *And now she sees it. *Thiers is a complex story line, that I think is almost Shakespearean.

Jin needed to be on his own with Sun to realize what he might be throwing away. I found it interesting that Michael would tell him how lucky he is for having Sun in his life. I think that was a pivotal turn to have Michael talk to Jin about Sun and not have to worry about Jin trying to drown him again. I think that Michael is a little jealous of how great a woman in Sun that Jin has. :(

OK, I love Sayid, I myself have longed for a little of his Iraqi lovin', but I just think that relationship is so contrived and PLASTIC. I too feel the need to hurl! It's worse than morning sickness! ANd I had it for eight months/ each kid!

Wow! I had morning sickness for the middle 4 and 1/2 half months, and I only have ONE child. :o I feel for ya Air. ;)

Ah yes but I lucked out with an easy L& D for both. 5 hour max on each. :)

I think another thing about Jin that we found out in Exodus was that he felt responsible for Sun being in this predicament and he also told her she deserved better. I think he was feeling a lot of guilt and was trying to protect her. Many times we are unable to express things properly so we hurt the one we love. I think between his guilt and having his dream of running away and starting over with Sun being shattered by HS guy right before the flight had his inner emotions totally out of whack.

Sun was able to change once Jin backed awya from her, He was kind of the dark cloud that covers the SUN.

I agree. It must be so hard for him not to tell Sun how evil his father really is and that he hires ppl to follow them around. I did not think that the Hawaiin shirt guy was a spy for Mr. Paik. That shocked me and i thought it was very cool. I wonder if he was actually on the plane. Imagine if he's one of the tailgate survivors????!!!! That would be interesting :lol2: :angel:
