A friend of mine just now watched all the LOST episodes, and she called me with this question-

Brian gave Michael two plane tickets when he came to New York, one round trip to Sydney, back to NY for Michael, and a one way to NY for Walt.* *

Was LAX a layover?* Or was it changed?* Could I have missed something?

She is now currently rewatching those episodes, trying to figure ot out.

Any ideas would be great!

On some of these boards Australians have confirmed there are no direct flights from Sydney to NYC, so LAX was a layover.* Sydney to LAX is already an awfully long flight, something like 14 hours.

Thats what everyone has been saying so far.
