View Full Version : what would you request for your last meal?
God's tom 06-12-2005, 03:17 PM Alright...Maybe I'm scraping the bottom of the thread barrel here, but I'm curious!
Let's say you were gonna take a ride in "Old Sparky" at midnight!
What would you request?
Here's my choice!
Fried squirrel
Taters with gravy
soft rolls
buttered corn
Fresh Rhubarb pie for desert
...and lots of my favorite soft drink: Big Red to wash it all down!
(And if I ate all that & was still alive...they could fry me!
 :lol2:  :jump1:   :jump: :roflmao:
JohnnyREB1977 06-12-2005, 04:05 PM Man, that sounds good!
For me it'd be a steak and baked potato and a whole pitcher of sweet tea. I really love sweet tea. I'm glad God made it on the 8th Day.
God's tom 06-12-2005, 04:12 PM Reb, you're a man after my own heart.

Jayde 06-13-2005, 12:56 AM OK Leigh what's the diff between German chocolate cake that's better than sex, and the kind my mother makes? :lol2:

Then more ice cream LOL
Leigh47 06-13-2005, 01:05 AM I dunno...actually I don't know if the German chocolate cake is better than sex but that's the recipe name so I am taking there word. Mmm Tirmasu..so many great foods in this world I hope I never have to choose!

slash_vic73 06-13-2005, 03:06 AM That sounds good AH, another great thread Wolf!!
God's tom 06-13-2005, 03:24 AM I'm just weird, I guess!
I put up the stuff that interests me.
(I think that's why I'm such a Stephen King fan...He & I seem to be on the same wavelength!
:alien: :vampire: :sorcerer:
slash_vic73 06-13-2005, 03:39 AM Yeah but if you weren't weird you'd be boring, that's what I always say!
AIRHOSTESS 06-13-2005, 04:04 AM I love SK too, and I know I'm a little wierd. My mom actually used to read his books to us when we were kids. I have a very vivid memory of my own imagination of the scene in Pet Sematary when he finds evil Gage at the neighbors house and what he looked like. I've been in love with his writing ever since.
BurningStar4 06-13-2005, 02:34 PM What a awesome topic.
Is it possible to request relations with Johnny Depp instead of having a meal?

I'd probably ask for a Chicken Caesar salad, mashed potatoes, maybe jerk chicken pasta, and a big glass of water. Oh, I guess since it's my last meal I should pick dessert, too. :lol2: I'd choose some kind of cheesecake from The Cheesecake Factory.

fanofangel 06-16-2005, 10:00 PM Hey Lone, ya know I'd try squirrel. I've tried Octapus, shark, frog legs, dolphin or porpoise chowder (don't remember which one), and escargo (sp). I didn't like the chowder (All I could see was Flipper) or the shark (it was tough) but the rest was great.
JohnnyREB1977 06-16-2005, 10:34 PM Was gonna try some squirrel once when I was younger. I went to spend the night with a cousin and he'd talked about it. We never got to it, though. Ended up gorging on pizza :).
Now, deer meat rocks!
fanofangel 06-16-2005, 10:51 PM Deer meat has to be marinated a certain way before I can eat it. They have tried to trick me, but I always can tell a difference.
Leigh47 06-16-2005, 11:26 PM Mmmm deer meat...venison.
God's tom 06-17-2005, 05:09 AM Hey Lone, ya know I'd try squirrel. I've tried Octopus, shark, frog legs, dolphin or porpoise chowder (don't remember which one), and escargot (sp). I didn't like the chowder (All I could see was Flipper) or the shark (it was tough) but the rest was great.
Dolphin or porpoise chowder????????????????????????? :o
Now, I understand the general reaction to the squirrel!
I don't know if I could eat a creature that intelligent! It would be like eating chimpanzee!
fanofangel 06-17-2005, 10:59 PM Lone - well it was 1978, what can I say. That was probably before all the laws about every damn thing in the world. Its not that it tasted bad, I just couldn't get it to go down. Ha
God's tom 06-18-2005, 04:46 AM Lone - well it was 1978, what can I say. That was probably before all the laws about every damn thing in the world.* Its not that it tasted bad, I just couldn't get it to go down. Ha

I tried venison in elementary school, we had a native "potluck" and one of the kids brought it in, it's really good!
