Anyone wonders why a psychic has 3 Globes in his study?

There is definitely something up with that guy. Why was he so persistant with Claire? He almost forced her to get on that flight. He wanted her baby to be 'good', and The Others only take 'good' people. Hmmmm?

Maybe he collects globes, and the second pic is blurry so Im not sure what it is, but it doesnt look like any kind of navigating thing, looks more like a clock

I've noticed some recurring props in flashbacks. Globes are one of them. The psychic has globes, globes are featured in Locke's flashbacks in Walkabout and there is also a globe in Jack's in WR, at his parent's home. Not sure if it's significant or not, or that the props dept. is just reusing props.
