What is your take on Kate's 'brief' marriage that she mentioned? I'm thinking that although she knew her family, she clearly didn't have a very strong family or friend support system at that point in her life (with the running & all)--so I'm guessing that she didn't have the whole church and white dress deal. Maybe she ran off to Vegas and got married by Elvis? Or maybe she eloped just to make her parents mad at her? What do you think?

gatecrasher....I'd bet it wasn't a big wedding. I have a feeling Kate married someone while she was on the run...possibly as a way of getting herself out of something. She certainly didn't seem troubled by it when she said "It didn't last long"....she was joking. That makes me think it wasn't that important a thing in her life....just something she had to do.

I've got to agree with you on that one. Perhaps it was to get to know one of the bank robbers..Who knows. I look forward to finding out.

Kate doesn't feel like the highly sentimental type that would want dozens of roses, bridesmaids dresses, or a honeymoon in thailand. I think that the wedding was probably a vegas ceremony or something relatively small along those lines.
