I'm afraid to read the article.

Just please ... I'm begging you ... please tell me she is not playing his love interest. :pinch:

The thought od Billy Bob Thornton defiling Yunjin is so far beyond sickening, I just can't think of a word for it.

lolol, i'm almost posotive that she's not his love interest!! So, don''t worry!! It takes place in the 60's at a bad time for immigrants. And two men are i think clashing over her or s/t like that. I'm not exactly sure. All i know is that she is the center of the problem for the two men and one of the men is Bill Bob!! lol, so you don't need to wrry!! READ IT! ;)

Well this is what it says:

"Georgia Heat" depicts the turbulent life of a Korean woman who immigrates to 1960s Georgia. In the film, Kim will take on the role of a foreigner who faces discrimination as an immigrant and is caught up in the tensions between two American men.

Billy Bob Thornton, who will play one of the men, is an actor-director who received an Academy Award for Best Screenplay in 1996 for his film "Sling Blade" (in which he also starred), and played the male lead opposite Halle Berry in her Academy Award-winning performance in "Monster's Ball."

'caught up in the tensions between two American men'...sounds to me like a love triangle ;)

I'm not a big Billy Bob Thornton man, but I have nothing against the guy. Lauren Graham (my female idol) starred in Bad Santa with him as his romantic lead, and she was great and it didn't bother me.

Yunjin is a professional...and this a movie. I'm sure she'll kiss whatever 'freak' she has to and it'll be believable and well done. And I for one won't be bothered while watching it :)

Either way...I read the article and it sounds like a really great opportunity for her!

I would like to see her in a movie with Jackie Chan. I think those 2 would be such a hoot together. :)

From what I understand, YJK plays a Korean war bride married to Billy Bob Thornton. They have two Amerasian kids. Her Korean son who was left behind (apparently from her first marriage and not wanted by Billy Bob's character) is coming to visit her before shipping off to Vietnam, She wants to provide a proper home for him to visit and tries building a home with her bare hands. She meets a drifter who helps her with the construction and that bears a resemblance to her son's father.

Tension ensues as she is torn between her old life and new life represented by the drifter and her husband.

The storyline may have changed a little because a recent report about the movie only says that she is embarassed to be living in a trailer park with relatives coming to visit.

There seems to be very few sources detailing the progress of Georgia Heat, and another stated that she was currently filming June's Dairy in Korea. With filming of the second Lost season coming soon, my guess is that we won’t see Georgia Heat any time soon.
