I vaguely remember reading on some thread that someone thought that Jack says "Come on back" instead of "Come on, Beth" during the operating room scene in "All the Best Cowboys." And so the newspaper clip on the Channel 4 site stuck out like a sore thumb. Also, if Samantha Boone is the correct name, could she be related to Boone? I don't know, but that whole scene was telling. It seemed mysterious or secretive, the way she acted. I think the phonecall will come into play later.

Theory:

She is part of the conspiracy, and Jack's dad's death is staged. Christian is part of the plan to get Jack and the other survivors to the island. Todell, it's not nitpicking. It was one of many crazy theories I will come up with this Season, and I take no offense to your comment. I actually encourage it. More connections have been made by people picking apart theories than I can count, and I welcome any comments.

Don't worry about it, Todell, nitpick away; God's in the details, you know....And I meant to imply, though maybe it didn't read that way, that if she KNEW she was getting an imp't call, ok you'd answer, but if you were just hanging there, not expecting a business call or whatever, you'd ignore the phone in favor of the flirt....well, I would, anyway!
That being said:
I didn't like Ana from the first second. The finger-licking was a definite turn-off; she had NO business pelting a total stranger with such personal questions when she'd obviously heard his fight with the counter agent and knew what a state he was in; she was way too familiar. I think anyone NOT involved in some nefarious way would have shut up the second Jack said, "Excuse me? Do I know you?" That's a "Back off" phrase if I ever heard one. I'd have left the bar. So I think Waltisfuture has a good theory going here; she (Ana) has to be involved in whatever cover-up is going on.

I definitely don't think A-L is talking about Hurley. If that's what we were supposed to take away from the scene, the dialogue would have made it more apparent. And while Hurley is generally pretty cool with any choices Jack makes, I don't think he'd be one of the first people to sign up for an army, do you? He's not so fit, and he's generally non-confrontational. A-L was referring to a redshirt, for sure.

Yeah, I've heard the diary isn't canon, but I saw you had Danielle Granger listed. I think the diary was expecially absurd this season with the whole brother-in-the-hatch thing and the lame explaination for why the DW thought so.

I imagine with all of the off screen material we have now (websites, books, TLE) there are going to be more and more names learned. Have you decided if you're going to list all of those as well? Do we know which of those are canon?

He's an Other that was guarding Sayid in The Man from Tallahassee. (Interesting to note, Price is also the middle name of Franics Heatherton, Lucy's dad, in Homecoming.)

I was just going to put in the name from Losthatch. Clearly too many people now to not check first, even though the name is never said to a person. Alex calls him Ryan.

I think he has guarded Sayid before. Ryan has that Special Forces feel to me, I think he is the solider to the left of Sayid in this picture.
