i'm leaving to singapore on a big plane (much like the one on lost) and i'm flying over the pacific, and it got me thinkin', if i COULD get lost and stranded on a mysterious island with 13 other hot people, would i? HECK YES!

I recently went on a trip to the Dominican Republic and while flying over the ocean looking down at all the little islands I imagined what my role would be on the island if it were to happen. The thought about being able to just start over where no one knows you or anything about you is appealing but sad at the same time.

i would, cuz who says we have to live a certain way in a certain society? i think it would be an interesting life, plus all the little querks of the island...

I chose yes, because I think it would be way more interesting then my boring life at the moment :lol2:

But I wish I chose no, now that i have read lonewolfs response

No. It being a lost island and all, I wouldn't ever know when I would be found, and I can't leave Georgia for that long.

And like lonewolf said, I'd miss LOST!

I'll say no, because there's no way there would be guys there as hot as the ones on LOST. And I would be the "crabby lady" that no one wants to hang out with, because without a good supply of chocolate I'm pretty much worthless. You know it would be humid, and there would be bugs and probably snakes if not polar bears, and I'm too much of a whinebag for that stuff.

I'd love to be able to visit my fantasy version of LOST anytime I want to. My fantasy version includes such necessities as industrial-strength bug'n'sun lotion; toilet paper and other creature comforts; ice; my favorite pillow; Sayid in love with me; you get the idea....:lol2:

I would want to be stranded on THE lost island but i would miss my kids too much to want to stay there.

I voted no. Not because it wouldn't be a great adventure but I have a daughter and I'd be miserable if I was away from her like that and I wouldn't want to make her worry or think I was dead. So, only because of my personal situation, I had to say no.

When I was a kid, I thought Tarzan, Journey to the Center of the Earth and other such "lost' and romantic stories were just about IT...still do...then there's Lost Horizons and Brigadoon...I think I'm an escapest at heart! :lol2:

I guess if it could be an island without huge polar bears, pilot-eating monsters, Walt-stealing Pirate-Others and other general creepiness the place might interest me for awhile. Throw Sayid into the mix and I may just want to move there permanently, lol ;D

It would be fun...but I said no. I'm a real homebody and I wouldn't be too happy.

LMAO, totally true!! If I could go on Survivor or something, a set time frame and people with guns around me to shoot the polar bears then yeah, but otherwise no, I'd miss my family too much! :lol2:

If it meant that I would get to spend time on an island with hotties I think I would have to take my chances on the island. Naveen, Terry, Dom, and Matthew are going to be on the island right?!

My idea of camping out is a hotel without room service. I wouldn't last a week.

I would, because like Emptyy said, it would be more exciting than the boring life I lead.....

Yes!

I have already looked up soap making and distillation. My life has been carefully planned to achieve my goals and I have never been exposed to a survival situation. It would stretch me in ways I could not imagine. Still, I would not want my family to worry about me so I would hope they would watch LOST every Wednesday to see how I am doing. I would also hope my husband would not get too jealous watching me flirting with Locke.:p

Your life has been carefully planned, Redemption Isle? I've never met anyone whose life has been carefully planned! I'm intrigued.
