I really do not expect a straight answer....but I must try anyway.

Purgatory.....while I find this to be an interesting idea for a show, I personally think there have been enough occurences on the show to discount this. And i swear I remember reading somewhere that a writer said they are not dead. Yet I see this speculation everywhere....and some people have seemed to decide that this in in fact true.

Can we finally lay this to rest or will the Purgatory debates continue? I imagine it is going to be the latter......

Oh and everyone has done a fantastic job on the show by the way. Its the only hour all week my TV is even turned on.

I see no reason to dissuade anyone from their speculations and philosphies regarding the show. Telling you the answer would rob some of the fun.

I will say that in next week's episode, the questions is asked about whether or not they're actually dead, with one of our characters answering with a definitive "of course not." (If that scene still remains in the final cut.)

Of course, he could be wrong.

'but he may be wrong' - that would make things very interesting. It would mean that people have supposedly died while already being dead. Of course, the drowning girl could have just disappeared.
