View Full Version : Naveen is one of INSIDE TV's 50 Sexiest Men on TV
Cassandra 07-02-2005, 10:39 AM Did we know this?
From the press release posted on Lost Media:
INSIDE TV agrees. In a special double issue, the new weekly magazine for women who love television releases its first annual tribute to the "50 Sexiest Men on TV" - the hottest hunks on the small screen; the men who keep viewers' pulses racing week after week. INSIDE TV picked hottie handymen, dashing doctors, cute cops and bad boys grouped thematically in ten categories listed below.
In conjunction with INSIDE TV's double issue, TV Guide Channel is airing an original one-hour special, "Sexiest Men on TV," on Sunday, July 3 at 8 PM (ET/PT), hosted by Kimberly Caldwell. The special will feature interviews with many of the sexy picks and commentary from INSIDE TV editors.
Matthew and Josh also made the cut (although for some odd reason the press release credits him as being in House--Dr. Sawyer? I don't think so!).
Robinhood56 07-03-2005, 09:51 PM Thanks for the info. About time he was added to the list. All the rest have been mentioned before. How could they have missed him all this time? ???
Robinhood56 07-10-2005, 10:58 PM I just saw on the TVGuide Channel, they had a show about this list. The interview with Naveen was cute. He said if he were stranded on a island like Sayid he would give up the ghost.
He said he needed his creature comforts like baths, showers, Jacuzzis and massages. Then he qualifies it as "ethical massage" he says he'd die without them. It was pretty funny.
mydoglikesbeer 07-12-2005, 08:23 AM Just what IS an "ethical massage"? Or I guess, maybe what I really want to know is what qualifies as an un-ethical massage?
Cassandra 07-12-2005, 08:42 AM Just what IS an "ethical massage"? Or I guess, maybe what I really want to know is what qualifies as an un-ethical massage?
Oh, I'm pretty sure I know what qualifies as unethical massage....
mydoglikesbeer 07-12-2005, 10:32 AM Oh, I'm pretty sure I know what qualifies as unethical massage....
You must be more experienced than I am. ;D
LostMyMarbles 07-12-2005, 10:52 AM I'd be happy to give Sayid (or Naveen) a massage, ethical or unethical.
Robinhood56 07-12-2005, 01:05 PM Un-ethical would be the ones with the "Happy Ending"
I'l let you take it from there. ;D
mydoglikesbeer 07-12-2005, 02:06 PM I'd be happy to give Sayid (or Naveen) a massage, ethical or unethical.
Get in line.
flora 07-12-2005, 02:12 PM HELL YEAH~!
Btw- (and off topic) does anyone know if Hugh Laurie also made the list?
Dr. Sawyer? Where can I get an appointment! :lol2:
Cassandra 07-12-2005, 02:23 PM You must be more experienced than I am. ;D
Who, me? I just do ...research, yes, that's it, research.
Btw- (and off topic) does anyone know if Hugh Laurie also made the list?

WE'D PLAY DOCTOR WITH THEM ANYTIME: Omar Epps (House); Hugh Laurie (House); Goran Visnjic (ER); Noah Wyle (ER).

HE'S THE ONE!: PATRICK DEMPSEY (Grey's Anatomy).
flora 07-12-2005, 03:17 PM I approve of:
Josh Holloway (help me, Jeebus! Keep his hair long and his stubble prominent!)
Julian McMahon (maybe, BIG maybe, and that's only because of his natural Aussie accent- I nearly didn't include him on my list)
James Denton (drool, drool, slobber)
Taye Diggs (drool)
Peter Krause (pant, pant)
Jack Webber (he just seems cool)
Omar Epps (though not because he's hot, but because he's funny in "real life" and I think he would be fun at parties!)
Hugh Laurie (long time fan of his, I am- and he has the most BEAUTIFUL BLUE EYES and a charming English accent and is very, very smart and is friends with other British actors I appreciate and admire- oh, and he likes motorcycles and his book made me laugh out loud every five minutes)
Goran Visnjic (even though I've never watched ER...I do have a thing for the Eastern European guys)
Gary Dourdan (has he got the most beautiful eyes? maybe in direct contention with Hugh Laurie's baby blues...but Gary's have the bonus of being so unusual!)
Adam Rodriguez (the Puerto Rican/Cuban kid who can't speak Spanish! But he's cute- I'd be willing to give him a lesson or two.)
Jon Stewart (Smart, and he makes me laugh. I've also liked him long time...all the way back to MTV and his standup days)
Jimmy Smits (only cause of his role in Mi Familia...when he was shirtless...and buff...and a bad boy...though I'm more on the fence about his hotness factor nowadays. He always seemed boring to me...with the exception of the Mi Familia character)
Naveen Andrews (not only is he hot, he's got that sultry Londoner accent that could lull me to sleep every night!)
Patrick Dempsey (hey, I've liked him ever since "Can't Buy Me Love". I would have hopped on the back of his lawnmower anytime!)
Yeah, okay, Matt Fox...(but only cause of his buff arms and tats...and cause he's on Lost...otherwise I probably wouldn't include him, no matter what a nice guy he seems to be.)
And if I include Foxy, I have to include Kiefer too...but still he was much more delectable in his movie days...
Maybe Jason Bateman, but I have to get past the crush I had on him when I was ten before I can even think about it...
The rest of them though???
Matt Lauer? Mr. Cocaine? Mr. Temper? No way! He's obnoxious...though I do like that he made Tom Cruise fit to be tied.
David Letterman? Are you freakin' serious?
Charlie Sheen? Mr. "let me call up Heidi"? Sorry...but he's past his prime, even though I do like his show but that's because Melanie Lynsky and Jon Cryer are on it too.
Anthony LaPaglia...don't get me wrong, I adore the guy and he's probably one of my favorite actors on TV today but??????
Noah Wyle? Used to be cuter. Now he's just...boring.
Re: Fix-it guys. they're kidding, right?
Re: the young guys- too young, too green for me. Pass.
Tony Danza? Dennis Farina? Who's smoking crack over there anyway?
Conan O'Brien. Smart, funny guy...but he looks too much like a cartoon. (ha-ha!)
William Peterson...I really, really like that guy. But on a scale from one to ten? Maybe a four?
John O'Hurley I'd rather have as a dinner guest, not a bed-buddy, if you catch my drift.
The rest I'm not familiar with or just don't have an opinion on.
Yes...I'm bored today, exceptionally bored!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Damn summer hiatus!
mydoglikesbeer 07-12-2005, 03:30 PM I almost peed my pants laughing at your post, Flora!
Especially the "who's smoking crack" line. My mother likes Tony Danza. I'll have to have Dad check the nightstand drawer.
Thanks for making my day.
flora 07-12-2005, 04:05 PM Especially the "who's smoking crack" line.* My mother likes Tony Danza.* I'll have to have Dad check the nightstand drawer.

Didn't Inside TV mean to say Naveen was THE sexiest man on tv?
flora 07-13-2005, 11:43 AM I'm sure it was just an editing mistake. ;)
Well, they should fix it! LOL!
Cassandra 07-13-2005, 03:17 PM Well, they should fix it!* LOL!
They're probably sending out the correction even as we type.... ;)
They're probably sending out the correction even as we type.... ;)
I certainly hope so...and they can now add Emmy nomination to the corrected press release!
kayid23 07-20-2005, 03:54 PM I don't know how Patrick Dempsy got 1#. That was odd...
But I think Maggie may have a little Crush on our Naveen. And little is putting it lightly.
Did you hear those rumors a while ago that they were having an affair? I know it's fake, but I wonder if anyone else heard it.

I hadn't heard that. I just read that they created the romance between their characters because they had great chemistry off the set. You know...at the cast singalongs?
kayid23 07-20-2005, 04:06 PM Oh, I heard that... but I mean on LOST-TV msg. boards they had something about that. I forget maybe I'll have the spunk later to go find the link.

I hadn't heard that. I'd be surprised. (Not about the crush part ;)) He's been with Barbara Hershey for what, six years now. Why screw that up for a fling with a 21 year-old?
Robinhood56 07-20-2005, 08:35 PM He has also stated his preference for older women. Not even women his age, so taking up with a much younger woman would certainly go against his past choices.

I haven't heard anything like that. In fact, I thought that Maggie and Ian were dating for a while. Both Naveen and Maggie seem happy about more S&S next season, which seems enormously unlikely if they had a fling.

Oh yeah...the cast campfire sing alongs. Terry, Naveen, Josh, and now Dom play guitar and Maggie and Jorge sing. Maggie and Naveen were friendly on the set-> I don't believe that it was planned for "Shannon" to sing "La Mer" before TPTB heard her singing voice- and so they decided it would be cute to write in a romance for their characters. Though no one said there was anything romantic going on- just hanging out playing music along with everyone else. As for Ian and Maggie, the only thing I heard in that regard was that Kristin from E! reported that she saw them kinda snuggling up and smooching over breakfast in LA one morning, but I never heard anything more about it though I get the feeling that Ian is rather enjoying being a single guy out in the field, <nudge, nudge>.
