Emptyy 07-07-2005, 10:56 AM Heres my list :

canuck19girl 07-07-2005, 10:31 PM hey empty_handcuffs, Laurel is my middle name.
I wish for either Jensena, Kiva, Lena, Kenzie, Mersey, some other ones that I can't seem to remember at the moment. I really like names that are different. But having parents named John and Mabel, you are not going to get anything out of the ordinary. Oh well. ;D
JohnnyREB1977 07-07-2005, 10:35 PM I like my name (named after my father and my mom's youngest brother). But, if I'd had the choice I probably would've picked either Arthur or Thomas Jackson.
slash_vic73 07-07-2005, 10:39 PM I would've preferred something more exciting, but names were pretty boring in '73! *I would like Michelle, Eowyn, Katherine, Gwendolyn, something romantic and elegant!
bearlover2 07-07-2005, 10:46 PM Never used to like my name but after many years of come to realize there are worst ones!
Anyhow names I would have liked: Kathryn, Jennifer, Sandy (don't ask me why liked this one when I was about 11 - think it may have been due to the old Flipper tv series! :D), Jessica, Emily and my all time favorite name - Megan.
Truthfully I don't look like a Kate, Jenny, Jess, Em or Meg! Guess they knew what they were doing.
Just recently found out I could have been Dolores so things could have been worse (no offenses to any Dolores' out there - it's my middle name-) just wouldn't want it for my first name.
QueenElessar 07-07-2005, 10:49 PM My parents name me Jennifer and at a time when Jennifer and Matthew were the most popular names available....ERRR..
For some reason I always wanted to be named Michelle or Adrianna
Superman 07-07-2005, 11:00 PM My parents name me Jennifer and at a time when Jennifer and Matthew were the most popular names available....ERRR..

Mother wanted to call me Leslie ::) thank GOD my father talked her out of it!
two manes I always wished I had were
Grania - (GRA-nya) means Grace - name of a Irish woman Pirate that tortured the Englash armada and was a thorn in the side of Elisabeth I. ;)
Isleen - (ish-LEEN) means Vision
God's tom 07-08-2005, 04:08 AM I actually went to court in '78, & changed my middle name from Wayne to Christian. I hated the name Wayne, 'cause it means "The cart maker" and I wanted my whole name to say something about me.
morning_glory 07-08-2005, 01:03 PM I always wanted / liked the names:
Veronica
Gwenivere
Geniveve
Bridget

pug3323 07-20-2005, 11:34 AM I actually love my name (Raelee)... its so odd that I don't need a last name ;D Though no one ever says it right the first (or fifth) time.. and some family cant spell it... its pheonitic tho..
but my middle name was almost Leena after my great grandmother, them my mom had the good sense to give me her middle name as my middle name.. whew!
LindaBB 07-20-2005, 09:30 PM My maternal grandmother's family name was/is Rhea...pronounced RAY...I've always wished they had used it more creatively with us grandkids! :)
stircrazy 07-26-2005, 01:43 AM Anything but what i was named... my name means "content or satisfied" in Arabic and i feel that has become my burden.. to become content. DEEP,HUH?
stircrazy 08-02-2005, 03:40 AM Three threads in a row i killed.
I wish i were named.. Sheeba queen of the jungle
Chrio1 08-03-2005, 01:51 AM I like my nickname Chris. My dad and mom always said they were going to name me Alawishes (I know I spelled that wrong) if I was a boy. Let's see in the 60s I wanted to be called Tina. Can't remember why. I was a mere child and perhaps that was popular in the 60s. My name sure wasn't.
I do like the name Anastasia Beaverhausen - but that name is already taken by Karen on Will and Grace. I think I would have liked to be called that.
God's tom 08-03-2005, 05:03 AM I think it would be cool to have an American Indian name......you know - something
like "Dances with wolves." (They'd probably call me "Stuffs face 'till fat!" :essen: :24:
pug3323 08-03-2005, 10:20 AM People always ask if my name means anything... Then I have to tell them it doesn't.. and then it's sad... At least I don't think it means anything... considering my Mom kinda made it up and I can never find it anywhere.
honeyguide 08-05-2005, 08:40 AM At one point I was meant to be an Anna but my parents changed their minds. Sometimes I like my name sometimes I hate it. (especially when people write it wrong)
I like:
Janet
Zita
Elisabeth
Daniela (Danielle)
lostinchitown 08-05-2005, 03:31 PM Benson. thats it, no other names. just benson, i think that name is the coolest name in the whole wide world.
