Totally agreed. Andrea Gabriel was incredible in "Solitary." Her chemistry with Naveen Andrews was nothing short of electrifying. Honestly the actors made those scenes. If I were a different sort, I'd have to hate her for being so pretty with so little makeup. ;) I don't know if we'll ever see her again, but I hope we do.

Also, have you noticed how absolutely, undeniably cool her first name is?!??! I'm just sayin'. :lol2:

Ohmigosh, is it really you? As you can see from my avatar, I am your biggest, hugest (!) fan. You were wonderful as Nadia. As I say in my tag line, "You will find me....", I so hope that you and Sayid will find each other again. Those who are activist in rooting for a romance between your man and Shannon (Shannon!!??!) ought to be ashamed of themselves. Sayid is a man of principle. He will be true to Nadia (whose toenails Shannon is not fit to pedicure). :lol2: Love your work.

Solitary was an outstanding ep, largely due to Naveen and Andrea's stunning work.

Solitary has been my favorite episode so far. And I know you were playing it cool and unaffected in the torture scenes, but my favorite part was when Naveen/Sayid shot himself so you could escape and you screamed his name. It was just a tiny moment but the panic and fear in your voice betrayed your tough exterior and revealed a small crack in your armor. Your concern and desperate attempts to get him to leave showed that you weren't just playing with him, you genuinely cared for him. The heart-wrenching scream of "Sayid" though, showed that you loved him.

Now you must be one hell of an actress to convey all that feeling with one word!!! :angel:

I wanted to help with the Nadia support as well. The episode was done with great body language. The two actors didn't even have to talk for us to understand what they felt for each other. Now there's some acting!

I've probably watched Solitary more than any other episode. When Sayid walks in to that barren hallway and Nadia asks "What did you bring for me today, Sayid" and he throws down the death hood, well, that was stunning, still is after all these watchings.

I agree, the way Andrea was able to convey so much through her voice and eyes was amazing.

They *must* tell us what happened to Nadia (I fear the worst) and why Sayid was in Australia. I'd love to have Andrea back for some flashback-y goodness.

I LOVE YOU NADIA!!!!! I MEAN ANDREA!!!! Or whichever you prefer. Ok. And Shannon can NOT do anything amazing except totally stink. The only amazing things I saw were:
#1. She didn't get any sand in her freshly painted toenails.
#2. She wore those AMAZINGLY ugly dangly earrings in the last episode.
In normal life they would be ok, but on a stranded island. ???

Andrea is an amazing actress, and the character of Nadia rocks. I think Shannon/Sayid are a pretty cute couple, but I would LOVE to see Sayid find Nadia again.

Out of all the loose ends on this show, I want two questions answered:

What happened to Nadia (sadly, I suspect she's dead)
Why was Sayid in Australia?

Maybe Sayid is trying to start his new life as well, and forget his painful past. Having a relationship with Shannon could help him forget....or it could make him more guilty then ever when he remembers Nadia. Hum.

I like both Nadia and Shannon, and the actresses that portray them, just fine. However, I've never understood what a man like Sayid ever saw in Shannon. They are far apart in age and experiences, different religions, he's serious and motivated and she's not...there are far more factors to kill attraction between them than there are to draw them to one another, save only physical attraction, and Sayid just doesn't strike me as a "thinks with his pants" kind of man. Now especially when we learn that Sayid has been searching for Nadia for years, and we know what he had to do to find her, and he knows she's alive and was on his way to find her...what's up with the left turn into Shannon love? It bewilders me.

Why Sayid was in Australia is pretty clear; whether Nadia is still alive is still not confirmed (the CIA/ASIS people could have been lying, the bastards! :)). I hope well see Nadia/Andrea again at some point, working at some boring job in Irvine. :)

I was so happy to see Nadia's picture in TGG. I was hoping we would actually get some scenes with Nadia, but that was of no avail. I hope she's in next season! *keeps fingers crossed*
