Yeah, well I'm going to have to learn. This new job is a lot of travel . . . three nights a week away from home.

This is my first trip, though. I actually like flying a lot so I'm not worried about that.

That will be cool to travel. It's definately fun when you are young and don't have kids and pets and a house to take care of.

Before I was a mom, I liked to travel a lot more and I could sleep anywhere, anytime, no problem.

But in 10 days, it's Viva Las Vegas for me!

Yeah, travel is really good at this point in my life. No kids, and the boyfriend is gone a lot of the time too, which kinda makes it easier. Soon, everyone will want to travel with me because I'll have so many hotel points and frequent flier miles, that I'll be living like a queen. :lol2:

I used to have more trouble sleeping in strange places, but it's not so bad anymore, especially since everywhere I go is so much quieter and darker than my Manhattan apartment!

Vegas is only six hours away from me by car, so I've been there LOTS!

New York is fun. You just have to know the right places to go. I grew up around here, so I'm kinda obnoxious about anything touristy. I don't really like to go to places where there are gaggles of people, but there are some fun things to do that are less-well-known.

It is an expensive city though. :(

My little Salt Lake City isn't much for nightlife, but TONS to do if you are the outdoorsy type (which I am).

I really haven't been to many places on the East Coast but hope to some day.

Vegas is VERY expensive, especially if you do any gambling.

We have a mall that closes at 9, a movie theater that is kind of cool and a water park. In the summer, we have a local amusement park. But other than that, Erie is pretty bleak!

The beauty of being in the Philly area is you have arguably the greatest city in the world, NYC ,2 hours away. The Jersey Shore 2 hours away, Casino's 2 hours away, Mountains for fishing or skiing/snowboarding an hour away. The 4 seasons, so it isn't always hot or cold, good sports teams...usually, our own beautiful and historic city, CHEESESTEAKS, sea ports, great restaurants and great people.

Kings Dominion? Thats like an amusement park?

we have tons of stuff in Chicago, but if i dont take the train or bus its just Top Notch Beefburgers, the Gap of Kettles, and Border's, basically. oh, and ORC in the summer...

Never been to Chi-Town, but I hear the beach is actually in the city, that's pretty cool.
