View Full Version : BARF BARF.. finding out about old crushings were not worth your time..
juliana24 07-25-2005, 06:38 PM So yes its true.. I GOOGLE PEOPLE.. if i find out tidbits of my crushes i google them and find out about them and its pretty nasty when you find out the guy you thought hung the moon was the biggest loser ever and you are 20 times cooler than him..
he's 34 and obsessed is a video game and BLOGS about it.
i never understood why when i got to actually talk to this crush he was so awkward and weird. i thought he was damn hot but in the end he had bad social skills he was just a geek and not a loveable one.
man i have odd taste
ps: i'd rather be a lost geek anyday
SO ANYWAYS: post your crush stories.. cause damn they usually turn out damn funny down the road
PhillyGirl2873 07-25-2005, 07:24 PM I googled my first love. I found out he's married and named his son Uzi. UZI! Can you beliave it?
juliana24 07-25-2005, 08:24 PM googling people rocks

Charlie-Survivor 07-25-2005, 08:55 PM Wow! If they're famous there is usually always something on Google! :lol2:

Charlie-Survivor 07-26-2005, 12:37 AM ummmmmmmms maybe the person isn't a geek and doesn't post on crap often

Mads13 07-26-2005, 12:46 AM I can't find ONE thing about any of my old crushes...... Odd.....
I've tried too....no success. I guess if you a pretty 'normal', anonymous life, there's not much about you.
stircrazy 07-26-2005, 01:18 AM For one guy I found links to naughty websites ... but i wasn't surprised... we both have dirty minds.
Looked for my first love and found nothing :(
juliana24 07-26-2005, 10:51 AM you need to know stuff like their email they use when they post on blogs or screen names and stuff.. if you don't .. might be hard to find them.. i know that it would be hard to find me if you only knew my main email because i don't use it when i sign up for stuff.
morning_glory 07-26-2005, 12:43 PM ummmmmmmms maybe the person isn't a geek and doesn't post on crap often
Thats the really weird thing, is that they are all major geeks (I love geeky/dorky/smart men :) ) Oh well.......
RamessesIX 07-26-2005, 02:23 PM Ah, the benefit of a fairly common name and a prediliction for privacy - I'm hard to Google! :D
PhillyGirl2873 07-26-2005, 08:02 PM you need to know stuff like their email they use when they post on blogs or screen names and stuff.. if you don't .. might be hard to find them.. i know that it would be hard to find me if you only knew my main email because i don't use it when i sign up for stuff.
Not necessarily. I found my ex using his nickname.
juliana24 07-27-2005, 12:02 AM Thats the really weird thing, is that they are all major geeks (I love geeky/dorky/smart men :) ) Oh well.......
then they are probably very sneaky
Mads13 07-27-2005, 12:54 AM then they are probably very sneaky
yes geeky/dorky/smart men know how to cover their tracks online :bye:
sometimes I wish I were more geeky/dorky/smart than I am
RamessesIX 07-27-2005, 12:04 PM then they are probably very sneaky
Actually, we're the most straightforward people you'll meet. We just know enough to be careful when surfing online, knowing that Google is a double-edged sword that can be used by, say, prospective employers or business associates. Or ex-girlfriends. ;)
juliana24 07-27-2005, 02:42 PM goooooggggleeeee is my friend...
i know all i'm terrible
bigbrowndog 07-31-2005, 02:00 AM I looked on Reunion.com for my ex and found him and he "married the girl of his dreams"---Mind you this was the girl he started dating right after we broke up. I'm tempted to email him but I don't know if I want to open that can of worms. First Love, compared every other relationship to that one, blah blah blah... Hopefully he is unsuccessful and fat...At least he is in my mind.
Mads13 07-31-2005, 02:23 AM LOL......dog
don't worry....if he married this girl right after he broke up with you........well.......give it time, he'll be miserable....... ::)
stircrazy 07-31-2005, 02:36 AM I found and emailed the guy i had a crush on when I was a Freshman in High School. It was cool to talk as adults and equals. It gave me some Kind of closure. Just beware the emails will probably be limited as mine were. The "wife" isn't gonna stand for too long of a walk down memory lane.
