What are you a cat or a dog person? I personally love both. I think cats are great because they have the "I don't give a rats a$# what you think..." attitude.

I love dogs. Cats freak me out. My only experience with cats was a neighbor had a fat and old cat and every time I went over there the cat would stalk around the room and pounce on my legs and scare the crap out of me. i was impressionable and so explains the cat fear* *;D

Dogs are great when they're not the annoying ones that bark all the time for no reason and jump all over wou with intent to kill (I only know one dog like this, luckily).

I don't like cats so much. They always seem to hate everybody.

I grew up a dog person, but as I got older, I started to find them very annoying (like children)!

I'm a closet cat person, I have 2 dogs and no cats, but I've always wanted one.

Love dogs. Not so fond of cats. They are sneaky and I hate how they hide behind the couch and jump out at you at 3am when you are on your way to the bathroom.

I used to have a Rott, no way he's jumping out from behind of anything. :)

I am a dog person. My dog is almost like another child - we spoil her rotten.

I'm a dog person. Mostly I hate cats... Though I can tolerate some cats that belong to friends... as long as I take plenty of allegra!

I'm a dog person. I have two, I'm allergic to cats.

Both, I have 3 cats (just adopted a new kitten 2 days ago), and 2 dogs! Sucker for punishment!!

They are just so cool - independent, intelligent and genuine. They are really a lot like dogs, just more discriminating...

I love all animals.....but I'd qualify as a cat person. They're not as needy as dog's.

Dog: Oh oh oh, please play with me, PLEASE!
Cat: Oh alright *yawn* I'll LET you play with me, just for a bit.

The kind of love you receive from a cat is different from a dog. I am a LEO so i know. You have to work for it and sometimes you may get smack when we are not in the mood. :laugh:

Anyway to answer the question (kind of).. If you are a cat and you show up at my back door scared and lonely you have a place to stay. If you are a dog and are lost and hungry come on in. I love them all. :angel:

Well I certainly respect all animal life, dog, cat, rodent, whatever.
I am happily feeding a family of squirrels outside my home. So anything that approached my door would be welcome. :)

I heard a saying a while back, it's "Dogs have owners, cats have entourages", how true!

My Cat rules......much love to Dogs, but lets be honest, a cat would never eat it own sh!t. CATS are superior to Dogs......mentally anyway. You can't even argue that. I love Dogs, they are loyal and will take a bullet for their owner/family/, but they are dumb as dumb as a sack of hammers on the whole.

I grew up in a Cat Hater family, but I don't mind them that much. All we ever had was dogs, but since I nearly had my thumb bitten off by a friend's dog, I can't stand them. I have trouble even walking into a house if I know a dog is there, no matter how small or how "friendly" it is.

I have trouble understanding spiders as pets. To me, they are something you call exterminators on... but to each their own. My Sister and her family love their pet spiders, snakes and scorpions. Everytime I visit their house, my 3 year old Niece is very excited to show me her pet snake "Shrek". *Shivers*. :ermm:

HAH! How about Sharks as pets. I "adopted" Lara, the White Shark I have as an Avatar!

I love both. I am allergic to both. But that doesn't stop me from petting and loving them when I see them. (Flonase really helps me around them)
