Is it me, or is Michael prone to jumping to conclusions? He did it with Jin, when he assumed that Jin didn't like him because of the color of his skin. He did it again when he assumed that Jin burned the first raft. Then, when he was poisoned, he assumed Sawyer was the guilty party.

I think he feels like an outsider because he is Black...probably paranoid ... so yes he does jump a little quickly

Michael is on the quick tempered, judgemental side. However, he is learning, especially when it comes to Walt. Contrast his initial throwing the comic book to forgiving Walt for burning the raft.

In thinking about this more, Jin was as guilty as Michael of jumping to conclusions. It seems like it's some kind of circular theme. Jin thought Michael was trying to get cozy with Sun. He assumed that Michael had stolen Paik's watch. I wonder if there isn't another assumption in Jin's past, and that maybe that's why Sun's style changed so much from their early-married days. It's just kind of interesting that Michael reverted to the rush to judgment mindset in the finale (Sawyer), while Jin did not.
