Wow, when coming across this part of the threaded board I saw that there was hardly anyting for Claire and I gasped. Claire is my second-favorite character (2nd only to Charlie, obviously!) and I wanted to start a thread of reasons why we all love the heck out of Claire. And if you don't love Claire's character, avoid this thread, please!!!!

My reason for loving Claire:

She seems genuine in a group of very different people. She's got a kind-hearted auora to her, something I don't feel you get with many characters on Lost. She makes me happy when I watch her, and I like feeling happy...Oh, and she has the cutest baby EVER!

I'm new to the series this summer, but I really like Claire, too. I was disappointed when they skipped the "Raised by Another" epi, I was really looking forward to seeing her backstory. Will have to wait for the DVD, I guess. Oh, well.

I agree with you, though. Claire just seems really sweet, and that's nice. There isn't a whole lotta sweet on the island. :)

Claire is my favorite. She is goodhearted and thinks of others. On other shows you have your Shannons and Kates. You never see such caring people like Claire and Sun. Not to mean in that Kate and Shannon aren't but I think there set up to be the kick a*** and brat of the show. (I do think things will change for the two of them this season though as we get more backstory on them) Characters like Claire and Sun are definately not the norm on tv. That's actually one of the reason I have stayed with the show. You see the types of characters you don't normally see.

I love Claire too! She's a favorite character of mine, her and Charlie are soo sweet, I love them together. There's a sweetness there that's not found on other shows. I hope to see more of them in the second season. :)

I love Claire too (she has the same name of my cousin;) ). She's not my favourite because I love all characters, but sh's so cute with her baby! And I'm agree with lampchops972, about Claire and Sun.

I absolutely love Claire! I would never want her to be forgotten. She does bring something to a show I haven't seen in a long time, sweetness. She's just so caring and sweet and never hurts anyone. Her and Sun stand out more to me and I could related to them better than Kate or Shannon.

I am absolutely in love with Claire Littleton. Though, I fear, she may be the one killed off next season. It saddens me that I have these thoughts, but I really do believe it shall be her. It would cause Charlie to be left alone with Aaron, causing a plot, so Claire's death would work for that. I am hoping, praying.. That she will not be the one to die. My theory is, Ethan will be back and he will end up killing off Claire. -nods- I will cry if she is killed off.
