Same here. I finally got around to doing it! My parents offered to buy it as a birthday present...I declined stating its something I've been saving for and hinted there are always other things I will need for college!

I feel the exact same way you do Bescky. Since its preordered and it wont be delievered until the 13th (at the latest)...only problem is...its being sent to my permant address and not my dorm room.

Side note: - Suncoast (the one in Michigan at least) had a sign outside of the store reminding people to reserve their copy of Lost Season 1. I spotted the poster...ran up to it and started exclaiming to my friends how exciting this was. Found Boone and started saying how pretty he is and how tragic this all was....then my friends grabbed my arm and dragged me away stating I was embarassing myself.

OMG... I honestly don't know if I should laugh or cry... and I thought only Pro7 (German "Lost" station) is too stupid to spell his name. They're airing an ad for Lost with Ian (http://people.freenet.de/majandracarlisle/ian1.avi) since April and haven't noticed that his name isn't spelled "Somerholder".

But, seriously: yahoo topped them all, because they had video clips with Ian "Somerland". :o (sorry, don't have the link for those anymore)

As bad as Yahoo was, Sci-Fi magazine still takes the cake for worst spelling disaster. They got BOTH his first and last name wrong once: Eon Summerholder. Yep, in print, in the in US, during press for his guest turn on Smallville. :rolleyes:

This DVD thing is just bad because they should have had plenty of time to check the spelling of his name and get it right. He worked for these people. You can't tell me no one knows how to spell his name after working together for an entire year?

You guys are lucky on that point. Since Terry never auditioned, I don't get to see something so cool as the audition.

These are things his agent should be keeping an eye on. It seems that he doesn't have the best repensentation if they don't verify how his name will appear anywhere before it is finalized.

OMG! You guys have to see the blooper reel!!! There's a part when they're filming the....scene we shall not talk about. It's real funny, though!!!!!!! Ian's laugh cracks me up and makes me happy! He's too adorable. I actually have it paused on that part where he's laughing. :melts:

And I've seen the blooper with Ian. At first I didn't want to see it (it's such a sad scene, I don't want to laugh about it, dammit... :( ) but then they showed it during some report about the DVDs. And it actually made me smile. Not only because the blooper is funny, but also because it makes me happy to see that Ian was still able to laugh about it, that he wasn't as bitter and broken as everyone (or some people, at last) made it seem.

I've got the DVDs and when I get back to the TV and have a chance later on, I'll be happy to check, if no one else gets to it before me. Is there anywhere besides the Hearts&Minds commentary that was messed up?


Got mine yesterday but haven't had a chance to watch much yet. I saw the bloopers and his audition. That was about all I got to before I melted from too much cuteness. He is absolutely adorable, I'll have to agree.

Now my hubby wants to watch all these eps from beginning to end, so he can be all caught up, since he didn't watch them the first or second time on TV like the rest of the universe. *rolls eyes*.

I liked the one on the Blooper reel where where Charlie and Boone are supposed to be so mad at each other because of the water...I don't know if Ian forgets is his line or what (or maybe they just had a hard time filming that) but they both start laughing right in the middle of it.

I laughed at that even before they started laughing. Evie seems to fall a lot.

I thought they would have more bloopers but the ones they have are excellent. My roommate and I couldn't stop laughing at Dom running through the jungle (after Josh attempts chopping wood)....are RA came down because we were laughing so hard! I haven't seen that yet. I've been watching Lost since last night and I'm about to be on Homecoming. It sure does take awhile but I don't really care.

I loved that feature with Foxy's gallery!!! It was awesome.

I liked it to. So is that from a real book or was that just something to show us, the fans, something neat. The whole thing was awesome with the black and white photos.

My friends are pooling in and getting me the DVD for my birthday! I'm not supposed to know, but my best friend told me. hehe:) . I have to wait for October 6 though. :frown: I'll have to tell her that she should get it from Best Buy so I can get that bonus disk. I can't wait to see the bloopers! They sound great.

I got the DVD on saturday afternoon and me and my sister ripped through 16 episodes until 5 a.m. in the morning. It was awesome. We just finished watching the set last night and are anxiously awaiting the new season. I'm glad she didn't have the "i want answers NOW damn it!" syndrome and went with the flow of the show. Then again..its probably easier when you're watching 24 episodes in 2 days instead of over a whole year.

Bescky - I think it was a gift to the cast and crew for Christmas. It was nice that they let us fans see some of the photos.
