"At 8:15 a.m. on Aug. 6, 1945, the B-29 Enola Gay, piloted by Col. Paul Tibbets, dropped the nuclear bomb called Little Boy over Hiroshima, deemed an important Japanese military site. The bomb exploded 2,000 feet above the city with a force equal to 13,000 tons of TNT, killing 80,000 people outright."

Will the human race ever learn?
One can only pray that eventually we will.
