I must say this isn't totally my idea but I read another thread around here that said that people who were in positions to put the lostaways on the island were part of some secret society and that these people wore rings, well lat night I noticed that Mr. Paik was wearing a ring as well. If someone else knows where this thread is please let me know.

Rutherford: it started in your thread about Brian being with The Others. Someone saw Brian's ring, and I found the detective that helped Locke had a ring, and now Mr. Paik? Interesting...I wonder if The Hawaiian Shirt Man had one? I looked for screencaps of his hands, and couldn't find one with his hands.:(

LOL it's your thread silly. I started a new one called Lost Jewelry, but this one would be better for the secret society stuff. I love cospiracies and secret society stuff.
Let the speculation begin..........
I'll bring over all the ring piks later. If you want to do it now, it's under Gen. Theories - Lost Jewelry

I've got another one for you, Rutherford: Hibbs, the man who gave Sawyer information on where to find the real (but not) Sawyer, wears a pinky ring on his right hand. It's the right hand rings that I find most interesting and promising. Here's a screen cap (http://lost-media.com/modules.php?name=coppermine&file=displayimage&album=255&pos=128).

And another one (http://lost-media.com/modules.php?name=coppermine&file=displayimage&album=255&pos=130). Reminds me of the pictures of the detective giving over the file to Locke.

Or maybe they all graduated from the same Fraternity, or participated in the same organization, and all know each other or know each other through someone else in the organization. I doubt there is a conspiracy going on with ppl on and off the island, involving the survivors, it just doesn't seem very plausible. If the rings represent anything, I would place my bet that they all were involved in the same type of organization, or maybe the mob. It would just be another way that you could tie lots of characters together too.
