Okay, I'm geeking out! I can't wait for the clock to say 4 days, 8 hours, 15 minutes, 16 seconds and maybe catch 23+ milliseconds.
It's sad actually.

Come on Season 2! You can't start soon enough!

Before anyone gets too excited over the cursed numbers appearing in the countdown,

I did not add anything for that time :(
But you did have a great suggestion. Maybe next countdown ;)

Oh, I didn't really expect anything to happen other then going "ooh looky! Neat!".

But yeah, maybe next time there could be something fun.

By the way, my "it'll be exciting" was just a bit sarcastic.

Um, by my calculations the countdown takes us to Wednesday @ 2AM Eastern Standard Time. What am I missing. Go easy on me if this is obvious to everyone else (Show airing in England at this time?? ) I just don't know...

I'm confused, too. It can't be a countdown to the second season premier because it will run out 21 hours early!

[Edit] Ooops! Never mind! Just found this thread:

The clock actually counts down to midnight Tues the 20th, not to the actual airing of the premier.

Which is very true. Our time zone is somewhat decent, but kind of sucks. Everything here is put on a delay system. Those of you ont he east who see the show at 9PM (8 Central), get to see it a whole hour before us. Our stations all take the shows and play them an hour later to make our time zone work. On the bright side, 10PM news. On the downside, everyone on the forum is talking about this show while I'm watching it.

But we are better than the West coast. And in Hawaii, they really get a wait. But I guess they did get to see season 2 episode 1 already. And they are right there where they film the show. And it is Hawaii.

Here on the West Coast, we see it 3 hours later, but I have managed to make "Lost" into an entire evening's entertainment, starting with listening in while the folks who are "watching live" on the East Coast describe & react to the ep, then watching the ep, then going on line and dissecting the ep with everyone here.

Obviously, I need help for my obsession

Oh, we all need help for this obsession. It's called Season 2. Now why the hell can't we find that in porcelain Mary dolls?

Not really- the clock is only counting down to midnight, we still have over 24 hours, it's dumb b/c tomorrow at this time the countdown clock will be over...?

There is no other way to do it unless you sniff location and determine timezone, which is a little complicated for a countdown clock. Oddly enough, the logistics for something as seemingly simple as a countdown clock depend on when it has to end, and this varies from timezone to timezone. It's really the only wat it could be made without people complaining about it representing "eastern time only" or something to that effect.

Madge

I don't mind it just counting down to Wednesday. If I don't see the clock anymore, it means I get to watch the new season that night. That works just fine.

AnnieBW
09-20-2005, 10:14 PM
It's now saying 1 hour 46 minutes. It's 10:13 EST on Tuesday night. Is it going by midnight on the 21st, or 9 PM EST?

car88win

I think they got us on this one...think about it. What is the one question we all ask every week last season..................give - IS IT WEDNESDAY YET?

Now we know. From the countdown.

John_Locke

Pretty Funny... I liked that Countdown Feature...

An error turned into a different countdown then everyone expected...
so now when countdown was done it was 23:59 hrs to airing of season 2

I logged in just as the countdown clock had four seconds left. And you know what?

PREMIERE was misspelled.

Ahaha. The misspelling was the first thing I noticed, too.

Premiere.

John_Locke

yeah i noticed that one too... PREMIER.... sounded like a countdown for a foreign minister.

Your are correct as this was the best solution to it.

And yes. Premier was spelled like that ... by ******* , not me ;)
I'm taking the 5TH
