View Full Version : Something to remember
If I remember correctly, Dr. Arzt was talking about how they needed to leave now on the raft because monsoon season or something was coming and the raft would just get blown back to shore. Is this what they'll be dealing with and how we'll see them make it back to the island next episode?
ilgandy 09-22-2005, 03:43 AM I read in an online article that the three men on the raft will have to figure out how to get back in episode 3.
jet3004 09-22-2005, 04:01 AM Oh yeah, the higher ups have said so many times that they aren't getting back any time soon...Maybe even like 8 episodes. But we have to see their chronicles out at sea, right? Of course.

Hmm what if they mean back to the rest of the gang? What if they end up on some even weirder island?? I assumed they would be back by Episode 5 this season with the "...and Found" title.:ohwell:
i_love_dmjgmfna 09-22-2005, 07:47 PM Aren't they going to be found in this episode? In the description, it says that Sawyer, Michael, and Jin are captured by someone, so wouldn't that mean that they would be back on the island by at least the third epi?
bucki4life2003 09-22-2005, 10:44 PM captured by the others and their little boat??----no that doesnt make sense either....who could they be captured by and not be on the island???
is that where the other end of that cable goes out in the water?
QueenElessar 09-22-2005, 10:49 PM Okay...lol....the producers have said that they won't make it back to the rest of the castaways for around 8 episodes...BUT they will not be out at sea the whole time.
They actually make it back to a different part of the island by the end of episode 2, or the beginning of episode 3. They are taken capture by Ana Lucia and some others...who are NOT 'the others'...but just members of the tail section of the plane who have been living on the other side of the island...and don't realize anyone else survived. They take Sawyer, Jin and Michael captive because they don't know who they are. They think THEY might be 'the others'...and Sawyer, Jin and Michael think the same thing about THEM. But obviously they're going to realize the truth...and then I guess try to make it back to the other survivors.
Noeland 09-22-2005, 11:57 PM Well, I kind of saw that coming last season. It's the perfect way to introduce the survivors on the other side of the island. There was lots of talk about that over on "the numbers" forum.

I like this theory...not bad, not bad at all
liz_lost_fan 09-23-2005, 08:41 AM its not a theory, its what is gunna happen :D
QueenElessar 09-23-2005, 08:49 AM Yeah sorry...lol...I should have rephrased what I said...but that was in fact not theory, it was from spoilers and episode descriptions that we have so far about what is coming up :)
The only part which was speculation was that:
Once the tail enders and Sawyer, Jin and Michael realize none of them are 'the others'...they'll try to make their way back to the other survivors. Obviously we KNOW that they're getting back there at some point (around episode 8 according to producers), but it hasn't officially been said that they will be heading back at a certain point.
liz_lost_fan 09-23-2005, 08:50 AM oh, lol :D yea...and I just re-read my post, and sorry if I sounded mean or anything, lol
QueenElessar 09-23-2005, 08:56 AM No, no...lol...I was actually responding to the person above you who said "I like that theory" in response to my post. I just wanted to clarify ;)
ELTaino74 09-23-2005, 09:08 AM Ok...Liz_lost_fan, i'll take it a whats gonna happen. But where can i find u, if it doesn't happen that way???
QueenElessar 09-23-2005, 09:09 AM Hey...don't take it out on HER ;)...lol...take it out on ABC for releasing those episode descriptions...
ELTaino74 09-23-2005, 09:12 AM How about if i take it out on u Miss QueenElessar
Actually why not take it out on ABC for not giving us a true preview of next weeks show
QueenElessar 09-23-2005, 09:17 AM Actually, here in Canada...there WAS a true preview for next week's episode ;)
Sawyer was pulling Michael out of the water and onto the remnants of the raft...screaming in pain a little because of his injured shoulder. Michael was out cold and Sawyer started giving him CPR, saying something like "Come on Mike!". In the Hatch...Kate gets up off the floor rubbing her head. Desmond says something to Locke that sounds like "are you him?"
ELTaino74 09-23-2005, 09:22 AM Not fair, Is there a video clip from Canada's eppie2???
ELTaino74 09-23-2005, 09:24 AM I hear that imdb.com has the video clip that your talking about...Where can i see that??
liz_lost_fan 09-23-2005, 09:29 AM Ok...Liz_lost_fan, i'll take it a whats gonna happen. But where can i find u, if it doesn't happen that way???

It seems like there are 2 version of eppie2... Could both be happening at the same time??
liz_lost_fan 09-23-2005, 09:33 AM It seems like there are 2 version of eppie2... Could both be happening at the same time??
what do you mean??
ELTaino74 09-23-2005, 10:56 AM what do you mean??
Well one preview like you said talks about the guys in the raft(which apparently is the Canadian preview) while the other is strictly w/ the hatch and the island(which looks to be USA preview)
liz_lost_fan 09-23-2005, 10:57 AM oh...I think they will just deal a tiny bit with the hatch, and a lot with the raft...
ELTaino74 09-23-2005, 11:05 AM Does anyone know where i can see the imdb.com Lost clip.. Went to the site and can't find it. They say that it has the clip of the guys from the raft..etc..
Dezdemona 09-23-2005, 07:19 PM Well one preview like you said talks about the guys in the raft(which apparently is the Canadian preview) while the other is strictly w/ the hatch and the island(which looks to be USA preview)
The Canadian preview showed both of those things, the raft and the hatch. Looks like we'll see some of both during Episode 2.
QueenElessar 09-23-2005, 09:15 PM The U.S preview was apparently not really a preview showing new footage...at least that's what my U.S. Fuse buddies told me....lol
The Canadian preview showed both the raft and the hatch stuff....so YES we will see both :). It was all new footage...
Plus episode 2 was supposed to be a Sawyer flashback and was changed to a Michael flashback...but in any event...it definitely will involve raft people ;)
waltisfuture 09-23-2005, 09:21 PM QueenE aren't we so lucky to be Canadian.
I keep forgetting we see stuff the "others" don't.
When I saw the wall of 'days counted', I went looking for it in screencaps and it was nowhere to be found. I get it now. The wall looked like it had at least 10 rows and 20 columns. A quick calculation is over 1000 days, but I see on the mural the lines equal a week (I used 5), so it could be even longer. There are 5840 days in 16 years.
Noeland 09-26-2005, 09:10 PM becareful waltisfuture! or we will come there and take your children away!! :P
Scheherezade 09-26-2005, 09:47 PM Did any one notice how the "others boat" moved through the water?
It was not natural - Like it was it was pulled/towed through the water.
standing on the beach 09-27-2005, 12:11 PM i was just thinking how much is gotta suck for the other members of the flight stranded on the other part of the island. they've gotta be looking pretty shabby, because it seems like our regular dudes got all the suitcases and supplies.... wonder if it's a little less civilized on the other side?

thats right. I didn't think about that..... What did they have for food the first couple of days? It took our survivers a few days till they started fishing and hunting boar.... I wonder...

That is probably because many times that is how they move boats around on sets by pulling into and across shots. So basically you may have caught some cheap production.
