.... asks: Any chance of an episode from Vincent the dog's eyes?
Damon_Lindelof replies: We had originally planned to do an episode revealing major island mythology from the dog's eyes... but it leaked, and some things don't bother me, but that was something that bothered us... so
Who do I have to bludgeon with a herring to get them to make this episode anyway, boo hoo it leaked. I want my Vincent... But judging by the fact that I am the first post in over 30 days, I might be alone...

An episode from Vincent's point of view would be awesome! I was looking forward to that in the future.... so now they aren't going to do it? That sucks!
I guess maybe a post on the VIP boards - for the writers and Damon.

Vincent knows a lot more than he's letting on. A Vincent episode would be brilliant and they should do one.

That would be so awesome if we saw an episode through Vincent's eyes. It would be interesting to see his perspective of all the relationships on the island.

Someone mentioned that since Vincent was in the cargo hold he saw something very important. Maybe someone stowing away?

I love the idea of a Vincent-centric episode. It would just be so dang cool!! Imagine it: filmed in black and white, low to the ground, a little dog panting in the background... You KNOW that Vincent has seen soooo much that we don't know about. He has free roam basically, and no one would censor their talk around a dog, for Pete's sake. Vincent might even know about the Others. This idea is so brilliant, that I hope that TPTB haven't given it up completely....just tabled it for when they think we've forgotten (yeah right!) about it in maybe season 3 or 4 or something.
One can hope, anyway!

I just thought of something, what if Ethan Rom was on the plane and he stowed himself aboard? When Hurley anounced that someone wasn't on the manifest, a stowaway was the first thing on my mind, but when they started talking about some one not being on the plane, it soon left my mind as I kicked myself for being so stupid not to realise it in the first place. No I'm kicking myself for kicking myself. No one would of guessed it, but that's all old news now, isn't it

I agree that there should be an episode with Vincent as a key character. I think a Vincent backstory is in order as well. He could have an interesting past prior to being "owned" by Walt's step dad. Perhaps he was on the island before or "belonged" to one of the island scientists.
Also out of everyone on the island Vincent is the most comfortable and at ease. That is worth discussion on its own.
