jellyfrog 02-21-2006, 05:31 PM Thanks for your comments. I'm glad you liked it  . Could you just see Jack saying, "How long have you known about this, John?" :D
Definitely! Sounding faintly accusatory. Or maybe not so faintly.
I always thought it was a shame that they never discussed Locke's involvement on camera. Did Jack even know that Locke knew and was the one who took his drugs away?
I would say no. I'm sure that was a time Locke used his "discretion." If he shared the information he would lose whatever advantage it might give him.
LadyMerenwen298 02-21-2006, 08:32 PM Nice fic, pacejunkie. You really do have all the characters spot on, and I love looking inside Charlie's head as he's going through withdrawal symptoms. Good job!
Rock Goddess 02-22-2006, 12:59 AM First off, I want to apologize to you guys again. It seems like I've been abandoning the thread, and I really don't mean to. Illness (bronchitis) and circumstances beyond my control (car accident - all people who run lights while talking on their cell phones should be sent to Craphole Island  ). I want to thank you all for keeping the discussion rolling while I've been absent, and for welcoming the newbies so warmly. You're the best!
:wavey: Welcome to all of our new Angels! (or Devils, according to pacejunkie :wink1: )

hey guys i havent been to this new charlies angels yet first it was the computer then it was the demands of homework from school:biggrin:
Welcome back! It's good to see some of the original members return to the fold. :)
So which Charlie is hotter: Post-heroin-Claire's-hero-Charlie or New-misunderstood-vengeful-Charlie?
Misunderstood, hell-bent on vengeance Charlie. I've always liked my bad boys, and this is no exception. And snarky Charlie...I probably loved him the most in the first couple of episodes, before the writers started giving Sawyer all the one-liners. Dom had some brilliant ones, back then. That's why I loved the "Jesus Stick" line so much - it seemed like a return to that.
We've seen lots of Charlies haven't we?
I have two favorites: the-first-week-on-the-island-still-on-heroin-snarky-sweet-helpful-Charlie and the new-misunderstood-vengeful-Charlie.
Here's another one: do we prefer pre-hanging Charlie or post-hanging Charlie?
I totally agree with you on the first part, the "on heroin, snarky yet sweet" Charlie. As for pre or post-hanging...that's a hard call.
I know we don't post fanfiction on the Fuselage but I posted my first Charlie fanfic story over on lost-forum, in honor of that site's return. It's a continuation of where the Moth leaves off. I'm really proud of it and would like to invite my fellow angels over there to read it:
http://lost-forum.com/showthread.php?t=30854
Love to have your comments there after you check it out if you're a member. It will keep the story bumped up. Thanks and I hope you have a good read!
I haven't gotten a chance to read your fic yet, but thanks so much for posting the link. I look forward to reading it soon.

Me too. What do you want to talk about :) ? I love to talk Charlie.

How about how everyone underestimates him sometimes. For some reason, not a lot of people give him respect. Maybe it's because now they know he was a user. I don't really know. But I've noticed. I like your avatar by the way.

Thanks. mmmmm.....love me some Dommie......
Maybe it's Charlie's own insecurity that started that. Sometimes people respond to you based on what you subconsciously project, and Charlie projects needy. It can be a turn off. I wonder sometimes whether people really do seem to ignore him or if we are being shown Charlie's warped POV. I noticed that in all his centric episodes particularly, everyone's disregard of him seemed magnified (focusing more on Jack in the cave than Charlie, keeping him out of the Ethan A-team, double standard when it comes to his visions). It may be the way he sees things.
But I think it would change if he projected more confidence. Instead of shrinking back when they asked him if he ever used a gun in Homecoming for example, he could have faked it and said yes, I know what I'm doing and I want to be included. Of course that wasn't the story they were going for but I think alot of this is caused by Charlie's own conduct.
We do know that when he does set out to do something with real determination, he does it and that's what I love about Charlie. He is completely different from Boone in that way. Boone was a total loser, never did anything right--a lifeguard who couldn't save a drowning victim, licensed in CPR but didn't do it right, volunteered for security watch and fell asleep, tries to radio for help and ends up dead (a fitting ending, screwed up again). Boone made me crazy he was so stupid. I love that Charlie gets the job done when he means to--saving Jack, rescuing Aaron, shooting Ethan, getting even with Locke. I'd like to see even more of that from Charlie and he may start earning more respect.

I agree with you completely about Charlie. He does come off sometimes as needy and he does do it to himself sometimes. I've also noticed that he gets things done when asked. I don't know, maybe I just saw people treat him like dirt sometimes and didn't realize that he does things to provoke it. I do disagree, however, about Boone. Come on! I love him. No, no, not just because he's a pretty boy but because of his personality. Yea he jumped in that plane, because he's willing to help an old guy out. :whlchair:He's helpful...Anything? Come on! Anyway, you're right on with our Charlie boy. And I can't wait until he gets to punch Locke too. Am I being mean? I don't mean too. :25:

oh yeah and sorry for my spelling in this and my last post i cant type :blushing:

Yes, Boone did try to be helpful. He meant well, you have to give him that! It's just that, sadly, he was inept. I always felt kinda sorry for him, until he'd go back to Shannon and tell her how useless she was. That was ironic.
Anyway, you're right on with our Charlie boy. And I can't wait until he gets to punch Locke too. Am I being mean? I don't mean too. :25:
Nah, you're not being mean! I'd love to see that too. But I'd rather see Charlie come right out and confront Locke instead of sneaking around in the jungle finding ways to humiliate him. It's not so much that I like Locke as that his pre-island persona is so uncomfortable to watch that I don't want to see him turn back into that person.

Thank you. Inept. That's the word I was looking for. He certainly had good intentions but I don't recall him ever succeeding at anything. Even when he tried to rescue Shannon in Australia he ended up getting conned and beat up. Just pathetic.

But that's so not Charlie's style! He actually plays to his strengths by fighting dirty and being passive aggresive. He doesn't have the size to take someone on so he goes around another way, like punching Sawyer in his wounded arm. Dirty but street smart.
Is anyone else not quite satisfied with the Locke revenge we've seen so far? I hope Charlie's not done with him because the humiliation over losing the guns just didn't seem to equal what Charlie suffered at the hands of Locke. People may not even blame Locke because they were all fooled by Sawyer. I think Locke needs more punishment  .

Okay, true! You're absolutely right. If he tried to take on Locke in a fight he'd just be risking more humiliation. Now if he were armed, on the other hand...

No way is he done with Locke. Not only was the humiliation over the guns not enough of a punishment, but Locke doesn't have any idea that Charlie was involved. Charlie has got to want Locke to know that Charlie is the one making him suffer.
Blue Coral 02-22-2006, 03:41 PM Whatever the case...we're all agreed that Locke deserves whatever's coming to him. (Like was mentioned before, no offense to Locke fans.) What goes around comes around. That's what people say. I'm sure the writers will not disappoint however the big confrontation happens. In any case, go Charlie!

That reminded me of Ethan. He knew he could only get his revenge on Ethan with a weapon. I'm sure it made him feel powerful again. Street smart and gets the job done. The protect Claire A-team would certainly have screwed it up if they had tried to hold Ethan for questioning. By the way, I believe he took a gun from Sawyer's stash before he told him where they were. If the count comes up again, remember that Jack noted there were six handguns when he put them in the armory.

I'd like to be there for that  .
bright light 02-22-2006, 03:50 PM charlie should get revenge by writing a paridy song about locke so we can all here his beautiful voice again :D
other ideas for revenge any one?
pacejunkie 02-22-2006, 03:52 PM Have two dozen pizzas delivered to his tent (I told you he was passive aggresive)

more revenge please remember 3 times!

.
I remember thinking at the time that the number of guns in the case must be significant, since they made such a point of counting them. I'm sure you're right! Someday when they show that scene again during the "Previously, on Lost..." segment, we'll know to look out for some more Darth Hoodie chills and thrills.
pacejunkie 02-23-2006, 07:37 AM Saw the Pilot last night and got my junkie Charlie fix. I miss that snarky little heroin addict. "I'm fine. Charlie's fine by the way" :D

I know, he was such a cute little thing. A clueless little thing but nonetheless, a cute one. He's grown so much during his time there. I mean in ways of maturity. He wants to be with Claire and Aaron right? So he's definitely going to kick the habit. :smoke:
It was fun watching him when he first landed. He looked a wreck! It was so cute.
pacejunkie 02-23-2006, 12:22 PM It was fun watching him when he first landed. He looked a wreck! It was so cute.
It's ironic because in interviews Dom had said that he took the role of Charlie because he wanted to play a very different sort of edgy, contemporary character than the cute, nonthreatening types he had played before. Yet, it seems to be his curse. Even when he plays a heroin addict, the fangirls will squee "He's so cute! You just want to hug him".
I don't think he'll ever escape that, although granted he's a little less huggable now. I still think he's cute  (tragic, but cute. I guess I find tragic sexy.)
bright light 02-23-2006, 02:11 PM i think hes beginging to get more edgy in seson 2 and i dont like it i like tragicly cute charlie !
pacejunkie 02-23-2006, 06:25 PM I don't mean to picspam but these are so gorgeous I had to share them. I'm not sure what photoshoot they're for but it looks recent:

Edited to ask: BTW, does anyone know how to make these pics into avatars? I don't need text or anything fancy, just the pics in avatar form.
Rock Goddess 02-23-2006, 08:16 PM Those are fantastic pics, thanks for sharing, pacejunkie!!
I could easily make those into avatars. Well, the pics that don't have the huge watermarks on his face, that is. And I might be able to erase some of those even.

ETA: Alright, I'm back. This is the best I could do on short notice, in an hour's time. I'll try a few more later. :)
I played with the coloring and backgrounds on these three. The pics were really fuzzy, so I tried to clean them up a bit:
Dom 1 (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v17/SparrowSong/DomRedChair.jpg)
Dom 2 (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v17/SparrowSong/DomRedChair2.jpg)
Dom 3 (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v17/SparrowSong/DomRedChair3.jpg)
Yes, those are a bit pathetic, because they're so small. I managed to clean up one of the close up shots, I think it turned out nicely:
Dominic (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v17/SparrowSong/Dominic1.jpg)
And this one is my personal favorite. Because if that's not an Evil Overlord pose, then I don't know what is:
He's Evil (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v17/SparrowSong/DomEvil1.jpg)

pacejunkie 02-23-2006, 10:37 PM Thank you Rock Goddess! I haven't decided which one to use yet but they look great. I was thinking the same thing about the He's Evil one. I imagined an avi of the pic with "Sith" written under it or something like that. That's awesome. Keep checking the link, these just went up today, I'm guessing in the next day or two they'll have cleaned up shots without the marks.

Lord have mercy! I do believe those are the most beautiful pics I have ever seen of "our" Dom. Damn that boy is adorable. :crush:
lostfan4ever 02-24-2006, 01:45 AM I wonder when those pics were taken? They are good ones.
pacejunkie 02-24-2006, 07:22 AM I wonder when those pics were taken? They are good ones.
Help. I can't take my eyes off those pictures. :Jumpy:
Judging by his longer hair I'm guessing they were very recent and hopefully that means we'll see them in a magazine somewhere soon. In the meantime, thank heaven for internet spies.
LadyMerenwen298 02-24-2006, 09:02 AM Oh, I saw these photos last night. And I let out a squeak, lol. Dom can make me squeak. ;) Hahaha.
There has to be someone who can get them without the watermark. It's such a travesty to have that ugly thing across these photos.
I definitely love the evil overlord pose he's got going on in that one photo. Not to mention all those intense stares. Ah! I NEED to change my icon, lol.
jellyfrog 02-24-2006, 02:58 PM Okay, maybe this is a dumb question, but I'm going to be eligible for an avatar in a couple of days, and I was wondering about etiquette... Is it okay to use a picture that you know someone else is already using? Or is that considered rude?
pacejunkie 02-24-2006, 03:45 PM Okay, maybe this is a dumb question, but I'm going to be eligible for an avatar in a couple of days, and I was wondering about etiquette... Is it okay to use a picture that you know someone else is already using? Or is that considered rude?
All the avatars in the gallery here can be used by anyone. It might be a little confusing if you have the same one as someone else but otherwise I think its okay.
Rock Goddess 02-25-2006, 12:58 AM jellyfrog - It really depends on where the avatar came from. If it's from the gallery, or pulled from an lj or website where people post them for anyone to use, it should be ok. However, it is considered proper etiquette to credit the avatar maker in your profile, if you know who made it. I've seen several of my old ones floating around the fuse lately - muliple users using the same one or two, but they have no credit below it. Which is fine, but generally it's condsidered polite to credit.
It should be fine, unless the avatar you plan on using is a specific one that person created especially for themselves. I know that's something most avatar makers wouldn't appreciate (this would mainly apply to animated ones, that take quite a lot of time and effort.) If you're not sure, I'd pm them and ask, just as a courtesy. :)

candydandy 02-26-2006, 06:58 AM ok i think my previous post was lost in the masses. hehe I'm a HUGE charlie fan so can I like join? :charlie: Hope you're all well
lostfan4ever 02-27-2006, 02:20 AM Welcome candydandy. There is always room for more Charlie fans.
pacejunkie 02-27-2006, 07:35 AM Hi candydandy!
Just wanted to let you all know that I wrote a new Charlie-centric fanfic. This one's a five chapter original adventure and I'm really excited about it. I thought it was about time Charlie became a hero again. It's centered around some events in Maternity Leave so for now its a bit spoilery. Therefore, I'm not posting it at Lost-Forum until after Wednesday but I thought I'd give you all a heads up. I'll post the link when it goes up. I feel really good about this one, it's a suspenseful read. Hope you like it and will post comments.
natfrog5 02-27-2006, 10:54 AM Wow, those new Dom pix are stunning!! Watermarks should be banned lol.
I neeed a Charlie fix. It really sux living in the UK!

But at least you get to say that you're English, just like Charlie  . Being American is boring, even with season two.

Blue Coral 03-01-2006, 07:42 AM Happy Lost day Angels! Cannot wait to see Charlie tonight. What mischief will he get himself into today? YAY!
pacejunkie 03-01-2006, 08:20 AM *crosses fingers and hopes it's more than one scene*
jellyfrog 03-01-2006, 09:32 AM Do you suppose there's any hope of his hanging being part of the flashbacks?
Blue Coral 03-01-2006, 11:03 AM Ewww...that was very scary and realistic. I think they probably will be. I mean, wasn't it during the time he and Claire vanished? But I hope there are more answers and not more questions.
pacejunkie 03-02-2006, 12:26 AM Okay, who has a shoulder for me to cry on? :crybaby:
WHERE WAS CHARLIE?????
Someone please explain to me how you could have an episode where the Ethan mystery is explained, the baby gets sick, Claire remembers what happened to her and NO Charlie? I'm perplexed. Good episode, but I lost a little respect for Matt Raggs. Charlie and Claire may be on the outs right now, but doesn't he have a right to know what Ethan was up to? What happened to Claire? He nearly died from this for pete's sake and he killed Ethan!
And he sensed danger for Aaron. Why isn't he wondering if his vision came true when Aaron got sick? I thought he would at least be hovering somewhere trying to find out if he was alright. The Claire and Ethan story and Charlie is completely cut out. I was pretty disappointed by that choice. It didn't seem right.

My only consulation is that maybe Charlie will have his own kidnapping flashback episode. They sure did seem to go out of their way to make sure no images of Charlie were shown.
Claire forgave Danielle maybe she will do the same with Charlie now. She does seem to jump to conclusion.
BTW my shoulder is available. :)
lostfan4ever 03-02-2006, 03:20 AM I was very disappointed that Charlie was left out tonight. The promo pics at lost-media had shots of an Eko and Charlie scene, and then Charlie was not in the episode at all. I would request more airtime for Charlie over at the questions for VIPs thread, but I think it would be received better from someone else. I've asked quite a few questions there. Someone else might get a better response. I know Matt Raggs answers questions. Does anyone else want to give it a try? Maybe remind the writers that we Charlie fans are here?
pacejunkie 03-02-2006, 07:01 AM I had already asked Raggs about his ep prior and he said he also hearts Charlie and that you can't talk about one without the other, althought this would still be more Claire focused. But no Charlie at all? Based on his answer, I was disappointed.
Thanks for the shoulders. To console myself, I posted my new fanfiction. It's Maternity Leave as I would have liked to have seen it. I think it's time Charlie got to be a hero again. Hope you enjoy it and please comment at Lost-Forum if you can:
http://lost-forum.com/showthread.php?t=31791
jellyfrog 03-02-2006, 07:02 AM Raggs said about Charlie and Claire that "you can't talk about one of them on this island without taking the other into account." Apparently you can, but you really shouldn't! Between that and the promo pics, do you suppose Charlie had some scenes that were cut during editing?
pacejunkie 03-02-2006, 08:14 AM Yes, I think in that scene with Eko he probably told him about Henry in the hatch. I thought it should have been kept in, not just because I heart Charlie  but because it made more sense for Eko to find out that way and be sure. Without, it looked like he assumed there was a man there just because he saw a cot in the armory. What does that mean? When he went to Jack he was pretty sure. Made more sense to know that Charlie told him.
Still, even with that inconsequential scene, it wouldn't have patched the holes I thought were left by Charlie being out of the Claire story.
LadyMerenwen298 03-02-2006, 10:02 AM I too was bummed that Charlie wasn't part of Claire's "flashbacks". The only thing that helped was Claire asking what happened to Charlie in her drug influenced state. Not much though. God, I would have LOVED to have seen Claire's reaction to Charlie being strung up like that. I hope we'll find out what Charlie remembers about the whole thing.
When the episode ended and there was no Charlie and Eko scene, I assumed his part got cut out. :frown:
EDIT: Never mind. Kate mentions Charlie being strung up to Libby in the presence of Claire, and nothing. I'm tired. :P
pacejunkie 03-02-2006, 03:23 PM I too was bummed that Charlie wasn't part of Claire's "flashbacks". The only thing that helped was Claire asking what happened to Charlie in her drug influenced state. Not much though. God, I would have LOVED to have seen Claire's reaction to Charlie being strung up like that. I hope we'll find out what Charlie remembers about the whole thing. Never mind. Kate mentions Charlie being strung up to Libby in the presence of Claire, and nothing. I'm tired. :P
I'm assuming that Claire's memory has slowly come back to her over the past month or more (she remembered more things in Outlaws, she recalls Charlie's drug admission in 23rd Psalm), but the main hole was the two weeks or so that she was with Ethan.
She was likely not there when Charlie was hanged, but was already moved off to the hatch. Ethan's answer implies they were separated before the hanging. So Claire must have found out about it from someone else afterwards. When Kate mentioned it to Libby, it was old news. That's why no reaction.
I too was hoping she'd recall more about her pre-Ethan time spent with Charlie and how he fought to protect her when they were first taken, and that maybe it would soften Claire up. But that's not where they're going with this. Claire is clearly becoming more independent and it looks like the peanut butter ship has sunk.
lost cinderella 03-02-2006, 06:31 PM hey guys i was wondering if charlie and claire were talking to each other yet or if claire was still mad at him

No news on that front. They are still big time separated.
Hey, in the spoiler forum someone posted a link to promo pics for "The Whole Truth", and it looks like we're going to be happy on March 22nd.
I can't wait for the big hirez pics. It's so hard to tell anything from those thumbnails. But it looks like lots of Charlie! Yay!!

That's true. I mean, now that we know that there are off-camera discussions that we don't see, it would make sense for Claire to know about Charlie being hung.
I like seeing Claire more independent actually. I just hope that the peanut butter ship is just hitting some rough waters for a time because I think Charlie and Claire are so cute together. You know, show a bunch of angst before they reunite kind of a thing? At least that's what I'm hoping anyway.
I just saw those "The Whole Truth" pics, and oh my god there is so much Charlie!! Oh, these three weeks of reruns is going to be hard.
candydandy 03-03-2006, 07:07 PM Thanks for the welcome guys :)

lostfan4ever 03-04-2006, 02:13 AM It looks like Charlie finally gets to go on an island mission. Looks like a good episode.
Bescky 03-04-2006, 11:48 AM Yes but it would be interesting, when Charlie goes on this island mission that Sawyer tells everyone that he hurt Sun. I hope that doesn't happen, but you never know what he's capable of.

Oh man, that would be interesting.
It would definitely "upset the entire balance of the survivors' community". I don't see how Sun being pregnant could do that unless Jin isn't the father or something. Or maybe ABC is being overdramatic?
Charlie does have a gun, so that should raise some questions on how he got one. I would think Sayid and Ana would pick up on that.
Bescky 03-06-2006, 10:14 AM I think...
Ana Lucia or Sayid gave him a gun, or he took it from the gun stash, before they set out on whereever they are going. But seeing as Charlie...hasn't been himself lately, and I like the bad side of him, it could possibly just be the fact he got the gun before they headed out. I'm still curious as to why Sayid and Ana picked him to go wherever they may be going.
As for Sun and Jin, and possibly not being pregnant with his child. That would be interesting if that was to come of that. But I don't think they would do that, would they?
But it is interesting to say the very least.

No problems with this site but StarDom is having domain issues and is working on it. There was a post on the sitekeeper's live journal about it. I keep checking but it was good news to at least hear something, which means it should be back eventually.

pacejunkie 03-08-2006, 08:10 AM Thanks for the links pacejunkie, I wondered what happened over there.
dunno. Is there anyone out there who runs a website that could explain what "domain issues" are? I assumed it had something to do with the company that hosts the site on it's server or something. Maybe you have to pay a monthly fee and it is a billing issue? Total guess there, I really have no idea.
LadyMerenwen298 03-08-2006, 08:53 AM Those photos really are out of this world. He's like . . . smoking hot. <3333
Pace, I'm thinking the same thing about the domain issue. Either a billing problem or something to do with the server. I hope it gets resolved soon. It's a good site.

I was thinking the same thing. "Claire, he's praying for you! How does that not melt your heart?" I loved the sad puppy look he gives Rose when Rose asked him if he was going to get up and help her. At least someone was finally there for him. Everyone else just ignored him for six days and let him sulk. I love Rose. She's the next best thing to me being there. ;)

I'm really glad you decided to join up! I've always enjoyed reading your posts, and kind of wondered why you'd never joined us. But then again, the spoiler section is very addicting (and time consuming). And I don't even post there that often, I just read what you guys have to say.

And I'll get to making the avatars with them this weekend. :) I may go back an look through some of the other photo shoot pics I haven't looked at in awhile, and make some of them also.

lostfan4ever 03-10-2006, 01:47 AM Hi all, I agree this is a great place to hang out. Most of my friends are Sawyer fans and not so much Charlie. Its nice to know there are other Dom fans out there.

Ah, I know! It melted my heart and he's not even praying for me! *sigh* :mushy:
lostfan4ever 03-11-2006, 12:05 AM I agree that scene was very touching. I don't know that he was praying for Claire. It may have been simply for his piece of mind right then.
pacejunkie 03-12-2006, 12:20 AM I agree that scene was very touching. I don't know that he was praying for Claire. It may have been simply for his piece of mind right then.
It seemed to me that he wanted to believe that she was still alive, in the same way that Rose seemed to believe that about Bernard. Charlie seemed interested in knowing how Rose could have such a strong belief that her husband was still alive and I would guess that was because Charlie didn't have that kind of faith for Claire's fate. She had been missing for six days by then and he likely believed she was dead. That's why I think he was praying "for her", or maybe more accurately, praying for the strength to believe that she was still out there somewhere and would return. I think believing she could still be alive gave him the ability to snap out of his depression.
candydandy 03-12-2006, 01:05 AM Hey guys, haven't been in here for a while, well like a week or something but still...hehe

Not a problem. I just like that people are enjoying the stories. I'm working on a new one now that will involve everyone and is really exciting, so stay tuned.
Also, just wanted to let everyone know if you haven't seen already that the Chana ship (http://www.thefuselage.com/Threaded/showthread.php?t=41033)is now officially open and ready to join. I don't mean to offend any PB&Jers who are around (I respect you guys, really  ), but if you're feeling adventurous, you might want to give Chana (Charlie/Ana Lucia) a try. Hope to see you at our Open House where we welcome all new members! The Chanas are excited for Wednesday.
lostfan4ever 03-19-2006, 11:11 PM Sorry pacejunkie. I respect your opinion, but Ana Lucia makes me cringe. I will stick by PB and J. I'm one of those hoping for a quick Ana Lucia death.
Rock Goddess 03-20-2006, 12:44 AM I'm with lostfan, though I do respect your opinion, pacejunkie. I do admit I see the possibilities in Chana, but my blind dislike of Ana won't allow me to commit. I'm not proud of it, but that's just how it is at the moment. :)
I did add the link to the Chana Ship to our resource list on the first page. That way any new Angels who join up can check it out and see if it's for them.

Thanks so much RG! And I totally respect the fact that not everyone's into Chana. Ana-Lucia is an acquired taste. I wanted her to die too at first, but now that I see the potential between her and Charlie (and all they have in common to connect with) I want her to stick around.
But there's always hope for PB&J. If Claire comes to her senses one day and doesn't take advantage of Charlie, I'll be fine with that too. Right now, Chana is my best shot for a hot screen kiss, and Charlie's like the only guy besides Hurley and Walt that hasn't had one.
elfdream 03-20-2006, 08:22 AM I really don't care. I just want Charlie to be happy. If he's happy with Claire so be it..if sparks fly with Ana (or Jessica/Alex or whatever her name is these days) that's fine as well.
(And I think I've said that somewhere before. :) )
sweetsouthernangel 03-20-2006, 08:27 AM good job. gotta luv charlie!!! lol, yup, i luv Dom and Charlie!
natfrog5 03-20-2006, 08:42 AM Hmmmm, I'm not sure about Chana. But then I havent seen any episodes past Fire + Water so I'm not totally up to date with happenings on the island lol.
I think I'll keep holding out for PB&J <3
xxxxx
LadyMerenwen298 03-20-2006, 08:56 AM I'm gonna hold out on the Chana ship. I just don't like Ana to be honest. Maybe this week's episode will change that? Who knows. I'm one of those PB&J hopefulls out there.
I can't wait for Wednesday!!
jellyfrog 03-20-2006, 09:59 AM There may be a bit of a misconception that Chana shippers are necessarily Ana-Lucia fans... I dislike Ana as much as the next person (well, unless the next person is a regular poster on one of those "Gruesome Ways to Kill Ana" threads), but I'd prefer to like her, if possible. It'd be more fun to enjoy all the characters on the show, but it's not that easy... Some of them are interesting, some are likable, few are both, and Ana has been neither, so far. I'm hoping Chana could change that for her.
And I just want someone to really and truly appreciate Charlie. Is that too much to ask? Ana seems like she could be the one, mostly because she's not in any position to judge him.
Dezdmona 03-20-2006, 10:33 AM I have not been an Ana Lucia fan, but neither am I an AL hater.
I realize that TPTB write the characters with both a dark and light side to them.
I am curious to see which side AL ultimately chooses.
Perhaps Charlie will help guide her way.
cylune 03-20-2006, 10:41 AM Chana #9 here… I’m not too crazy about Ana either but I’m willing to give her a chance. Claire is a hell of a better person than Ana but it’s obvious since Maternity Leave that she’s all about Aaron. Being a friend to Charlie isn’t her priority now (I don’t blame her one bit).
I hope there's going to be some sparks between Charlie & Ana because we’ll look silly if they ignore each other completely.

Thanks for making this point jelly. I agree it seems like the Ana hate is getting in the way of the Chana love. I wasn't a big fan of her either but if these two were a couple, I just might change my mind. It's the idea of the two of them that does it for me.
I hope there's going to be some sparks between Charlie & Ana because we’ll look silly if they ignore each other completely.
First rule of politics and love cylune, never, ever admit defeat. There will have to be something between them we can put a positive spin on, no matter how insignificant it may seem. I will never allow the Chana ship to sink.
Besides, PB&J ain't doing much better right now, so what have you got to lose?

I'm already thinking ahead to season three and hoping for the best (including at least 2 flashback eps)
LadyMerenwen298 03-21-2006, 09:46 AM I agree that it's probably my dislike for Ana that is getting in the way of me liking the Chana ship. I know for me personally I have to like the characters I'm going to ship to be able ship them, you know? But hey, I'm willing to have an open mind about Chana. If there is something between them in any future episode and Charlie is geniunely happy with her, then I'm happy and I can learn to like her. Besides like cylune said, Claire is more interested in Aaron right now (which is right).
natfrog5 03-21-2006, 12:19 PM Has Charlie not been in it much then? I havent seen past Fire + Water so I'm a lil behind!

He only has something like three scenes in the next two episodes, and is completely absent from the one after that. The scenes that he does have are good ones, but it's depressing to wait through a whole episode hoping for a glimpse of him, and there's only one short scene at the end.
Of course, even that's better than "Maternity Leave" where you wait and wait until the end credits and then say "WHAT? NO CHARLIE?!?!" But now that you're expecting that, maybe you won't be quite as disappointed when you see it.

Oh, that was SO painful! After Fire+Water, he goes from two scenes (TLC) to one scene (OOT) to no scenes (ML). It's been another Charlie drought. That's why the wait for the balloon trek has been so unbearable.
LadyMerenwen298 03-22-2006, 08:57 AM TONIGHT!!! :jump1:

I can't wait. We had so little Charlie since Fire+Water... :frown:
I don't know what they are building but whatever it is, it's next to Claire's tent... I think it's something to protect her and Aaron.
pacejunkie 03-22-2006, 02:04 PM Well if you believe the person who claims to be insiderscoop on imdb today, Charlie and Sayid are building another raft. This time it is to circumnavigate the island.

stircrazy 03-22-2006, 11:55 PM mmm Charlie. That is all.
lostfan4ever 03-23-2006, 12:20 AM It was great to see sarcastic Charlie back again. He's been missed.
Rock Goddess 03-23-2006, 12:36 AM Welcome to Charlie's Angels, Lost One!! :wavey:
75. Lost One
Glad you've decided to join us, and I hope you enjoy it here! :)
I can see why some people want an alternative to PB&J. It's definately stalled right now, and I'm ok with that. They both need to grow a LOT before that can ever move forward in a semi-productive way. But that is where I'd like it to see it end up later on. I'm not opposed to other hookups for Charlie in the meantime - Claire is rightly concerned only with Aaron right now. Which is how it should be.
As for Ana, she is definately an acquired taste. Though she gained some points with me tonight. Mainly for the "Jack and Locke only worry about Locke and Jack" line, because I've been saying that since last season, and I'm fed up with their bickering. It's about time someone on the show said it! And her scenes with Sayid and Charlie were enjoyable, though I'm not going to read too much into it just yet. :) We'll see - never say never on this show, right?
I'm really happy to see so many new Charlies Angels lately. Now if only we could influence TPTB to give Charlie more screen time.
That would be nice. Though I think just the fact that we are increasing, and we're having real discussions, sends a message to any of TPTB that might happen to read through the boards. Not that I think we really influence the show that much...but we have been showing a lot more Charlie support recently, and while we haven't gotten vast quanities of Charlie time, we've had some high quality moments lately. Especially tonight.
mmm Charlie. That is all.
I'll second that "mmmm." I LOVED Charlie tonight, he's back in my favorite form - Snarky Charlie. The lines, the smirking. It was all gold. :)
~ RG

Absolutely RG. I was one happy camper tonight. He flashed some of the best smiles I've seen him give in a long time on that crazy island. I loved the line to Ana: "Humour isn't his strong suit. And I'm saying that to you". Then he walks away still smiling, clearly amused with himself. It's nice to see him happy.
And how adorable is Charlie sleeping by the campfire? Had to freezeframe that one.
Rock Goddess 03-23-2006, 01:19 AM How could I forget to mention the campfire thing?! That was too adorable, and needs to be an avatar, I think, if the screencaps are good enough.
And my brain went into total LotR territory with Charlie's "Breakfast!" bit. Just substitute apples for papayas, lol. I have SO much love for this ep. The writers gave me what I wanted...sarcastic, fun Charlie; Rose and Bernard time; and someone finally calling Jack and Locke on their bickering. And a Jin shirtless scene thrown in for good measure. Did I already mention Charlie? Because it really can't be said enough.
Those smiles were indeed priceless. It's about time, too.

Thank you! How does he do it? Being snarky one minute and utterly adorable the next??
Blue Coral 03-23-2006, 08:58 AM "Are you looking at my bum?" I was floored when he said that! He was so cute in this episode. I've realized how much MORE I love Charlie. We need more of him! I can never get enough and I'm glad they brought him along on the journey.
LadyMerenwen298 03-23-2006, 09:16 AM "Are you looking at my bum?" I was floored when he said that! He was so cute in this episode. I've realized how much MORE I love Charlie. We need more of him! I can never get enough and I'm glad they brought him along on the journey.
Hee, I loved that line. It was so adorably-Charlie! And him sleeping was wonderful, too. I'll volunteer to get in next to him, lol. And I loved that sarcastic and snarky Charlie was back. I missed him. Gah, just when I think I can't love Charlie anymore. I'm so glad he went on the balloon trek with Sayid and Ana. SO GLAD.
pacejunkie 03-23-2006, 09:16 AM Anyone else notice that Charlie was the only one SMART enough to realize they might need a gun on this trek? Some posters are saying it was stupid to blow his cover that he had access to the guns but I didn't see it that way. Sayid should have tried to get a gun before they left. Charlie was right.
LadyMerenwen298 03-23-2006, 09:40 AM I did wonder last night why at least Sayid wouldn't have tried to get a gun from Sawyer. Maybe he figured that with the history those two have had that Sawyer wouldn't have given him the gun anyway? But yeah, it was smart of Charlie to bring a gun. Yeah, it might blow his cover if Sayid and/or Ana-Lucia figure things out, but I think bringing a gun to the trek is more important in the long run. Go Charlie for being smart!
natfrog5 03-23-2006, 07:52 PM "Are you looking at my bum?" I was floored when he said that! .
lol I can so imagine him saying that! Can't wait to be able to see these episodes!
Charlie is back woooo!

lostfan4ever 03-24-2006, 12:36 AM Charlie had some great lines last night. I hope he stays a big part of things for the rest of the season.
LadyMerenwen298 03-24-2006, 08:39 AM I hope so, too. More Charlie time would be wonderful!

I agree, but it's only a matter of time before an Island oversight committee convenes to investigate this oh so interesting development.
How will Charlie explain how he obtained his blaster?
Was there an opportunity for him to have gone to Sawyer before they left on this mission?
Sigh. I sense that our trio is walking into a trap. :unhappy:

They've even made me come out of my semi-retirement from avatar making, lol. The first one is animated, the rest are stills. The last two are pics from different photo shoots. Anyone who wants to is free to use them, all I ask is that you credit me. :)

Rock Goddess, how do I credit you for the avatar?
pacejunkie 03-25-2006, 09:53 PM Thanks RG! Awesome avis. I saved my two favourites. Now I just have to decide which to use first.
ETA: I picked it! I want to credit you but I didn't see which option to edit so it shows up under the avi. Can you tell me what to do?
Rock Goddess 03-25-2006, 11:36 PM I'm glad you liked the avatars. I'll probably make more, but those just screamed to be made last night :)
To credit, just go to UserCP, then Edit Profile. Scroll down to the Additional Information box, and type the credit in the space for Personal Text.

punkrockjunkie99 03-26-2006, 09:25 AM Welcome to Charlie’s Angels #2!!!
Our last thread was so popular, it grew to 220 pages! So it’s time to start a fresh thread for the beginning of Season 2! This is our second thread, and we hope it will be even more popular than the first!
As Charlie’s Angels, our main mission is to discuss everything Charlie Pace - his strengths and weaknesses, his humor and his struggles, and his relationships with other Lost characters. This is also a place to discuss Dominic Monaghan - his portrayal of Charlie, and his other roles.
We’re also a growing resource for all things Charlie and Dom. In this first post you’ll find a resource list with links to favorite and useful Lost, Charlie, and Dom related sites and artwork. If you have any Charlie related avatars, wallpapers, videos, or fanfic, please share them with us! Also, any Charlie or Dom related news or articles are appreciated. I'll be going back to the old thread and trying to find links to some of the art that was posted there soon.
Hostess:
Rock Goddess
This group was originally started by the wonderful Becks last season. Due to her often busy schedule, I’ve taken over the hostess duties for this season. I have gone through the 220 pages of our last thread and updated the long-forgotten member list. If I’ve accidentally left you off, please PM me and let me know. Also, some of us have special Angel nicknames. If you'd like one, let us know what and we'll add it.

Anyone is welcome to join the Angels - the more Charlie fans, the merrier. All you have to do is ask. :wink1: We’re really laid-back around here, all we ask is that you stay fairly on-topic, and keep this the fun, friendly group that it’s been for our first 220 pages. And please, no super-short, one or two word posts or chats - we like to stay on the mod’s good side.

I did some investigating and noticed that people there put their avi credits in their sigs. I guess there's no way to put text under the avi. So I put your credit above my banner there. Thanks again! I'm using the "addict" one over there and I'm loving it.

Another suggestion would be that a lot of people put their credits in their location as well. It frees up a lot of room in your sig area so you don't go over the 300 character limit.

stircrazy 03-30-2006, 12:12 AM I like wet Charlie. Is that wrong?
lostfan4ever 03-30-2006, 01:04 AM I agree stircrazy. I just wish he had more to do in this episode. I mean, Dom's got to get frustrated with the minimal role Charlie has become this season.
Rock Goddess 03-30-2006, 01:56 AM I agree, Dom probably is frustrated with that...it seems that a lot of the cast has been voicing their frustrations lately. I was disappointed with the general lack of Charlie tonight.
The bright spot is that, while Ana and Sayid were bickering, Charlie took the initiative to keep looking, and HE actually found the grave. Which of course led them to finding Gale's secret. So without Charlie, they really wouldn't have found the info they needed.
I know, I'm stretching it. I have to find some bright spot.
Good news seeing Charlie and Eko in the previews, maybe we'll find out what's up with Eko and the Happy Trees, finally.

xxxxx
stircrazy 04-04-2006, 01:42 AM There is a great interview with Dom here (http://www.the-trades.com/article.php?id=4200). Some season two spoilers if you haven't seen the show till "Fire and Water". :)
Thanks for the link. Dom is such a great guy. A real guy. *sigh*
pacejunkie 04-04-2006, 07:28 AM Thanks for the link. Dom is such a great guy. A real guy. *sigh*
He is a real guy isn't he? As opposed to Charlie who's a fictional guy  . Sometimes I wonder who it is I'm really obsessed with.
Blue Coral 04-04-2006, 07:33 AM I Know!!! I'm always like 'Charlie...yum' :naughty:But I saw Lord OT Rings the other day and I was like 'Dom!' and then 'Charlie, he's so cute in those little hobbit feet.' :kicking:He looks so different without the stubbly beard. And then I was like, who is it that I like here? So i've decided I like both Dom and Charlie.
LadyMerenwen298 04-04-2006, 09:28 AM So i've decided I like both Dom and Charlie.
That's a fine choice, cause I like both of them, too. :)
pacejunkie 04-04-2006, 01:32 PM That's a fine choice, cause I like both of them, too. :)
Me too. ;)
Charlie: rock god, snarky, junkie, tormented, insecure = lovable
Dom: funny, english, adorably cute, talented = lovable
ETA: just giving all you Charlie fangirls a heads up that the AOL clips for Dave are up and there's a great Charlie scene. Also, based on the preview, there will be at least one other as well. Yippee!
LadyMerenwen298 04-05-2006, 08:34 AM So I caved in and allowed myself to see the very first clip that they have listed there, and . . .
The Charlie and Sawyer convo was real interesting. Though poor Hurley, he doesn't want to deal with distributing food again. I don't blame him really.
Looking forward to tonight!!
EDIT: A little snippet on who some person thinks should die on TV shows here (http://www.denverpost.com/entertainment/ci_3669034). Lost is listed, and I don't like who he lists at all.
Blue Coral 04-05-2006, 08:50 AM :clap:Another Wednesday has arrived Angels!!! :clapping:YAY!!! Oh happy day. lol. Here's to our Charlie/Dom Pie!! :yumpepsi:
Dezdmona 04-05-2006, 09:54 AM A little snippet on who some person thinks should die on TV shows here (http://www.denverpost.com/entertainment/ci_3669034). Lost is listed, and I don't like who he lists at all.
Hmmm...
Theory in response to article posted above: :gossip:
IMHO that guy is at best spreading malicious gossip.
It is my firm belief that it will be our guy who will find the path to "redemption" for the Islanders.
See the last 3 paragraphs of this article: http://tv.msn.com/tv/article.aspx?news=215569>1=300&mpc=1
Combine his comments in that article with his Mother telling him that he will "save them"; and I just think that there is a larger plan for his character.
(Not to mention the religious imagery which has been associated with our man.)
Unfortunately, a tragic hero does die in the act of redemption, but his honorable sacrifice will be a moral victory, (allowing for the salvation of the others ~ IMHO).
However, I don't see this happening for a looong time.
candydandy 04-05-2006, 10:02 PM Sounds like Charlie had some good lines tonight, can't wait to see the eppy :)
pacejunkie 04-05-2006, 11:44 PM More Charlie scenes than we've had in a long time. It wasn't a lot, but I'll take 'em. He had some funny lines too, and that was cool.
lostfan4ever 04-06-2006, 01:06 AM I loved the Charlie scenes tonight. I actually like the Eko/Charlie connections in this eppy.
pacejunkie 04-06-2006, 08:39 AM Yeah, I think Eko is Charlie's new Locke. Charlie does seem to need that mentor figure in his life, and now he's hanging around Eko. I just hope he doesn't end up disappointed again when Eko reverts to his former self like I'm sure he eventually will.
LadyMerenwen298 04-06-2006, 09:44 AM I loved Charlie's lines last night.
"Is it a Starbucks?" and "A polar bear on roller blades with a mango" had me laughing. Too cute.
I also liked how he's building something with Eko that he has no idea what it is. Kinda like when Claire built something with Locke and she didn't know what it was at the time. Parallel? Who knows, lol.
I'm happy. :)
jellyfrog 04-06-2006, 10:07 AM I also liked how he's building something with Eko that he has no idea what it is. Kinda like when Claire built something with Locke and she didn't know what it was at the time. Parallel? Who knows, lol. Hmm, the thing Claire was building with Locke turned out to be for her. Maybe Eko is building something just for Charlie. A confessional? ;)
It was good to have a few Charlie scenes with some great lines. I always want more though! I think only F+W had enough Charlie for me.
natfrog5 04-06-2006, 10:45 AM Glad to hear Charlie had some good lines in last night's episode!
Seriously cant wait to see the new stuff but as I've seen up to F+W I'm gonna have to wait like another 3 months here in the UK!!
xxxx
candydandy 04-06-2006, 07:31 PM Aww Charlie sure did have great lines last night. I love him and Eko working together, hope we get to see more of that :)
lostfan4ever 04-07-2006, 12:29 AM I agree. I also like the Charlie/Eko interactions. I hope we see more of that as well.
stircrazy 04-07-2006, 12:47 AM I just woke up from a nap... I was dreaming about Dom. I haven't done that in quite awhile. Just though I'd share. lol
Hee hee building a "starbucks?" Oh Charlie!
pacejunkie 04-07-2006, 12:12 PM You all everybody...I have an announcement!
For those who like to read, write and share thoughts on Charlie fanfiction, a group of us at the Chana ship have started a Charlie fanfiction Yahoo group (http://groups.yahoo.com/group/charlie_fanfiction/)and we'd like to invite you all to join. We are a fiction writing support group, most of us share our ideas and give feedback, but some of just like to read the wonderful stories that are posted there. It's a great hangout spot. There's even a message board and chat room.
RG, if you wouldn't mind, would it be alright to place an invite in the first post of this group? We'd like to reach as many Charlie fans as we can.
Thanks for listening and we hope to see you there!
ETA: I posted a new Charlie fanfic at Lost-Forum. It's called The Attack (http://lost-forum.com/showthread.php?p=1111326#post1111326)and it deals with Charlie coming to terms with his attack on Sun. Take a look, I hope you like it. Lots of Charlie angst!
Blue Coral 04-12-2006, 09:50 AM Happy lost day Angels! Here's to hoping for much Charlie tonight!
stircrazy 04-13-2006, 12:33 AM me love wet Charlie but did anyone see wet Jin? My mother and I went "ooooo" at the same time. LOL
Charlie seems happy. I like that. Glad he has someone to talk to and hang with.
pacejunkie 04-13-2006, 01:02 AM Once again, Charlie gets the best line of the night. "I like you just the way you are" Heh.
Rock Goddess 04-13-2006, 01:58 AM Yes, that was absolutely the best line. Dom's delivery there was so perfect. And really, wouldn't we all (well, all of us in this group, anyway) like to hear Charlie say that to us?
Pacejunkie, I'll be happy to add the Charlie Fanfiction group to the resource list. I'll probably update it and the member list with the latest numbers sometime tomorrow afternoon. :)

Great! Thanks RG :)
lostfan4ever 04-13-2006, 02:09 AM I loved Charlie's line to Eko tonight too. Even in an episode with minimal Charlie, he manages to have the best lines.
candydandy 04-13-2006, 04:46 AM I loved Charlie's line to Eko tonight too. Even in an episode with minimal Charlie, he manages to have the best lines.
lol so very true :) That was such a great line
LadyMerenwen298 04-13-2006, 08:59 AM Hee, I'm another who absolutely loved that line last night. Charlie had like two lines, and he still comes off as having the best line in the episode. :)
Will check out your fic pacejunkie. It sounds interesting.
...new look to the forums, right? Or is this old news already?
pacejunkie 04-13-2006, 11:25 AM Will check out your fic pacejunkie. It sounds interesting.
...new look to the forums, right? Or is this old news already?
Thanks Lady! Karri's been experimenting with different looks since last night. I think the Rose look replaces the ultraviolet map that everyone said hurt their eyes.
LadyMerenwen298 04-14-2006, 08:51 AM Yeah, the ultraviolet map one did hurt my eyes a bit. Seems like the layout is back to normal now. Unless we can pick our own skin or something?
I did read your fic yesterday, pacejunkie. I even replied over at Lost-Forum. It was great. :)
Blue Coral 04-14-2006, 09:00 AM Hi Angels. I just wanted to say that Charlie, as always, rocked the house/island in this new episode. He owns all of his scenes. I just want to run my fingers through his silky hair. Ahh....
jellyfrog 04-18-2006, 08:55 AM I was happy to see over in the Spoilers section that Kristin confirmed that Charlie is NOT going to die this season. I didn't think he would, but that April Fool's joke really shook me up so I'm glad she put it to rest. :18:
LadyMerenwen298 04-18-2006, 10:20 AM That's good news!
cylune 04-18-2006, 10:36 AM that April Fool's joke really shook me up so I'm glad she put it to rest. :18: I'm still shook up by that April Fool's joke! What an awful thing to write about. The worst part was that it wasn't even April Fool's day yet! But the latest spoiler sure put a big smile on my face!!!!
:jump:
Blue Coral 04-18-2006, 10:49 AM Too bad I'm spoiler-free. I want to know now! :teehee:Anyway, even with the re-runs, I'll look forward to seeing more Charlie. Gads! I'm loving him more and more.
jellyfrog 04-18-2006, 12:10 PM I'm still shook up by that April Fool's joke! What an awful thing to write about. The worst part was that it wasn't even April Fool's day yet! But the latest spoiler sure put a big smile on my face!!!!
:jump:
Lune, is it from the call sheet? I'm staying away from that one. Too much info for me. :frown:
cylune 04-18-2006, 12:17 PM Lune, is it from the call sheet? I'm staying away from that one. Too much info for me. :frown: Nah - it was from your spoiler. But I did read the call sheet thread afterwards... good stuff in there too! But it gives a lot away so don't read it!!
pacejunkie 04-18-2006, 05:01 PM May is Charlie month Angels! Prepare to squee.
lostfan4ever 04-19-2006, 12:47 AM May is Charlie month Angels! Prepare to squee.  I'm just curious, why is it Charlie month? Do you know if he's getting a lot of screen time or something?
LadyMerenwen298 04-19-2006, 09:14 AM ...does this mean lots of Charlie in the month of May?! If so, yay!
Are you judging by that call sheet? Cause that was a good read.
pacejunkie 04-19-2006, 09:15 AM I'm just curious, why is it Charlie month? Do you know if he's getting a lot of screen time or something?
I'll spoiler font this for those who want to be surprised:
1. Gregg Nations, script supervisor answered a post saying that we will see more Charlie and Ana interaction on May 3 in Two for the Road
2. Charlie and Eko have been spending alot of time together and Eko has his episode right after Ana's.
3. According to the call sheet spoiler, Charlie and Eko fetch dynamite and cause an explosion in the hatch. Seems as though Charlie and Eko have a real story arc brewing between them.
All this adds up to more Charlie screentime! Yay!
lostfan4ever 04-20-2006, 01:14 AM I hope you are right, but what if:
An explosion in the hatch means Charlie ends up like Arzt? I don't want to think that.
pacejunkie 04-20-2006, 08:29 AM I hope you are right, but what if:
An explosion in the hatch means Charlie ends up like Arzt? I don't want to think that.
Kristin has already confirmed that Charlie won't die. I wouldn't mind if he scored an injury, more screentime, more drama.
LadyMerenwen298 04-20-2006, 09:27 AM Oh, this is very exciting.
I wonder if the Charlie and Ana interaction means that Ana is going to question Charlie about how he got a gun.
Blue Coral 04-20-2006, 09:44 AM I don't read spoilers, but I'm so tempted to. No matter what it is it sounds good so yay! Charlie!!!
lostfan4ever 04-21-2006, 01:23 AM I wish I could avoid spoilers, but I'm weak. I can't help but peek.
candydandy 04-21-2006, 06:23 AM Squee for May bringing us beaucoup de Charlie :) (ok forgive my french haven't done it for 3 years)
cylune 04-21-2006, 07:58 AM Squee for May bringing us beaucoup de Charlie :) (ok forgive my french haven't done it for 3 years) Bien dit! Beaucoup beaucoup de Charlie!!! (my new favorite sentence!)
Yahou for May! I don't look at spoilers either, unless it relates to Charlie!!
*squeeeee*
Blue Coral 04-21-2006, 08:15 AM I just read a big season finale spoiler by accident!!! It came out of no where. Me no likee spoilers. Beaucoup, I love that word and I don't know why lol. Before the day is over I might take a peek. Might. lol.
Dezdmona 04-21-2006, 09:49 AM A little theorizing - not really spoilerish
I'm glad to hear that more will be revealed about the relationship between Charlie & Eko.
We have seen that both of them have had their faith tested, and they have shown us that both of them "appear" to have re-dedicated themselves to faith, but I'm not convinced they have found the way "yet". I sense an underlying trap, for who?, I have no clue.
lostfan4ever 04-22-2006, 09:28 PM Bien dit! Beaucoup beaucoup de Charlie!!! (my new favorite sentence!)
Yahou for May! I don't look at spoilers either, unless it relates to Charlie!!
*squeeeee*
Love your avi cylune!
LadyMerenwen298 04-28-2006, 08:21 AM Just thought I'd mention that Dom is going to be on Jimmy Kimmel on May 12th with J.J. Abrams. It should be interesting!
lostfan4ever 04-29-2006, 01:25 AM I agree! I always enjoy Dom's talk show appearances. It will be interesting what he and JJ have to say.
Bescky 04-29-2006, 10:18 AM Its always interesting when Dom is doing an interview. He seems to be more...open now..or something like that. lol. But hasn't Dom and J.J. been on a talk show together before?
elfdream 04-29-2006, 11:41 AM I have known people who didn't care for the character of Charlie but once they saw Dom doing an interview they have said "Now I can understand why DOM has so many fans! :D
LadyMerenwen298 04-29-2006, 08:49 PM He sure does have something, doesn't he?
candydandy 04-30-2006, 03:22 AM Bien dit! Beaucoup beaucoup de Charlie!!! (my new favorite sentence!)
Yahou for May! I don't look at spoilers either, unless it relates to Charlie!!
*squeeeee*
hehe Yay for that :) It is a good sentence :) And should be used more often hehe
jellyfrog 05-04-2006, 07:02 AM Another Charlie-free episode...
WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH! :crybaby::crybaby::crybaby:
Sorry for getting everyone's hopes up with my question to Gregg Nations. I spent the whole night whimpering "But, but, but, he said..."
lostfan4ever 05-05-2006, 12:52 AM Another Charlie-free episode...
WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH! :crybaby::crybaby::crybaby:
Sorry for getting everyone's hopes up with my question to Gregg Nations. I spent the whole night whimpering "But, but, but, he said..."
I agree with you. I had hope after his quote. Makes me wonder what script changes happened that he wasn't aware of. All I know is that I'm sure tired of Charlie free LOST.
Rock Goddess 05-05-2006, 02:08 AM I'm not at all happy with the lack of Charlie, either. I'd hold out hope for next week, but judging by the previews, it doesn't look like we'll get much, if anything, then. :( I know there is more Charlie coming up....but I've always been impatient.
I've been so busy lately, I haven't had time to update anything. My idiot boyfriend broke his ankle. I warned him...don't go on the dirtbike, the dirtbike is bad. But did he listen....nooooo. I haven't forgotten about the member list or adding links to the resource list. I'm pretty sure I have nothing going on this Sunday, so I'll try to get that all done (and maybe make a few new avatars) then.
~ RG
candydandy 05-05-2006, 07:46 AM  to all for lack of Charlie
Rock Goddess- Maybe he'll listen to you from now on :)
ETA: Dunno if anyone uses colourbars but here is a link to one that I made, poorly ;) http://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b238/merrymoo/charliecb.jpg
lostfan4ever 05-07-2006, 01:04 AM Well there are some Charlie pics in the promo pics for the finale, I just hope we get some Charlie before then.
LadyMerenwen298 05-07-2006, 03:42 PM I hope so, too, cause this lack of Charlie is upsetting.
lostfan4ever 05-08-2006, 01:22 AM Just thought everyone would like to know about some talk show appearances scheduled for Dom. May 12 he's a scheduled guest on Jimmy Kimmel. On May 18 he's scheduled to be on the Craig Ferguson show.
lostfan4ever 05-11-2006, 01:51 AM Boo hoo. Another episode with almost no Charlie.
