While reading threads about magnetism etc., someone mentioned platypus'. I looked it up and didn't find anything interesting, but I did copy the sound they make, just in case it might fit in with the monster sounds.

The things this show makes me do are CRAZY

Is platypus the animal that is supposed to be making the noise? Or is it a music group? Or a sound effects group making the monster sounds. Part of the sound sounds like a slamming wooden door.

Why do you think it's a platypus?

The sound is a some sort of howl going through a very long and lush reverb. The howl sounds VERY similar to a sound heard several times in Return of the Jedi during the speederbike scene; as the bikes pass and rush off into the distance.

As for the 'security system', there are quite a bit of mechanical elements. The sound designers have constructed it to sound man made. I can hear pneumatic out gassing (pssst!!!), metal gears, and a clackety, clackety sound like that of a rollercoaster pulley system. Lots of cool sounds happening along with dirt raining down on the ground and leaves, trees being splintered and smashed and heavy, booming footsteps.

Winamp can play the OGG file (the first one).

The second file is a .rar file, which is like winzip. Youll have to download Winrar (its free). Once you install it, download the .rar file (the second file) and open it. Inside youll find the mp3.
