View Full Version : Where was Jin? Is Charlie back on smak?
LuvMySayid 09-29-2005, 12:57 AM Those are the only 2 things worth staying up a few more minutes to hash over tonight. I think Jin might have managed to get onto the Gorton Fisherman's boat somehow. Also, Charlie back on the stuff? OH yeah. Your thoughts?
DaNay4422 09-29-2005, 01:00 AM I noticed at the end of last season, he had that statue in his bag....hopefully that's the same one. Which would mean he hasn't opened it up to get to the drugs yet. So at the moment, he's clean. I wonder how long that's gonna last though.... And the saddest thing is, if Claire finds out, she won't trust him, especially with Aaron. Charlie probably won't even be allowed to be near his "psuedo-son" until he is clean, and Claire feels she can trust him again.
Michelle Friday 09-29-2005, 01:05 AM I think Charlie has plans for the statue, none good.:frown:
lostfan4ever 09-29-2005, 01:30 AM I don't think Charlie knows yet whether he will use the drugs or not. He's battling with himself. It was great seeing he and Claire and Aaron together. I hope he does not mess that up.
chellekay 09-29-2005, 01:35 AM I am hoping Clarlie decides not to go back on drugs. He can fight it!
I think Jin got on the boat and that is how he was with the "others" so does that mean we will be seeing Walt again?
Pistol Pete 09-29-2005, 01:46 AM Jin could have easily floated up on another piece of the raft. Being just one person on a smaller piece he coulda washed up on shore that much faster.....
Anyone notice how Charlie scratched under his nose with his hand while talking about the statue.. Kind of like a crack addict....It's getting to him....He's GOING to submit to it....You know he is..cmon....When his next episode comes along, I see him breaking the statue.

Hey, a Charlie/Claire fan can hope for the best. You're probably right though.
BlueMonster 09-29-2005, 02:34 AM Jin was back on the island, as we saw at the end there...
elfdream 09-29-2005, 10:14 AM Charlie is thinking about it. When he's not with Claire/Aaron its probably all he thinks about..its probably taking up all of his waking thoughts...first thing in the morning and the last thing at night unless he's occupied. He's obsessed with it.
Why..because he's an addict.
I don't know if Claire will turn away or try to 'help' him out of it. There ways of dealing with an addict but most people don't know that...and they normally try to 'help' them and usually only end up making things worse.
Honbun26 09-29-2005, 10:24 AM I don't think Jin got on the boat with the Others.
Those people who had him captive are passengers from the back of the plane. The previews showed that new actress, Ana (?), the one who met Jack in the airport. She was sitting in the back of the plane; 42F if I'm not mistaken.
amalyntor 09-29-2005, 10:35 AM Ya, but HonBunAna-Lucia was in the pit with them...she's also going to be a "prisoner" with Sawyer, Michael and Jin...I don't know who those other people are yet....if they were from the plane with her, wouldn't they know who she was?
With regards to Charlie, if he hasn't opened up the statue Mary yet to reveal the drugs, why was he acting so protective of it? He was like "give it back!" when Claire was looking at it. He even shoved Aaron back at her so he could take the statue.
And I think Jin just floated up to shore on another piece of the raft...
Honbun26 09-29-2005, 10:45 AM Okay, amalyntor - let's having dueling spoiler fonts!
I get your point and raise you....
The black actor (who was in Oz) is part of this group. I saw his name in the credits last night. I've read that he has been on the island and is possibly connected to the plane that was transporting the heroin. Perhaps there is another group, with him as the leader. They are armed with those spikey clubs to protect themselves from the Others.
Back to you....
elfdream 09-29-2005, 10:47 AM Its possible that
Ana might have been a 'plant'. They put her in there and she pretended to be a prisoner to extract information from the raftees.
amalyntor 09-29-2005, 10:57 AM  hahah Ok HonBun...
Yes, I agree. I think the black actor (is he Dr. Eko?? or something) is from the other plane with the Mary statues...and he's the leader of this group protecting themselves from the others. I was just wondering how Ana-Lucia fit in with all this because it looks like she's being treated like a prisoner too.
amalyntor 09-29-2005, 10:58 AM Ohhh, I like that Elfdream!! But that's awfully dangerous if Sawyer, Michael & Jin actually WERE the others!
elfdream 09-29-2005, 11:07 AM Well..her team...
would be right there to protect her or take revenge..whatever happens.
LuvMySayid 09-29-2005, 11:08 AM Well, Charlie is the character I love to hate (no offense, Dom, good work). He has probably been using the heroin from the previously broken statues. Remember? Some were broken when the plane fell with Boone in it. Locke picked up some of it. Charlie was at the site and helped himself to some, no doubt. He will revert to his former personality as an addict. The symbolism of black/white, good/bad, etc. will be personified in this character as his personality switches back. I don't care for and am not interested in Charlie, though.
Honbun26 09-29-2005, 11:20 AM Ahhh amalyntor! Touche!
Perhaps this gang are the survirors from the back of the plane and they are following behind Dr. Eko because he knows how to fight. Ana-Lucia disagrees with how they are treating our rafters - perhaps the back-of-the-planers thank they are the Others - so they throw her into the pit with our rafters.
Back to you, my dear:laughing:
amalyntor 09-29-2005, 11:32 AM Hmmm, interesting Honbun...
If they are passengers from the back of the plane being led by Dr. Eko, then they aren't very nice! They'd throw Ana-Lucia down there because she disagreed with them? What if they're starting to get the "sickness"? Would that make them mean/crazy?
Honbun26 09-29-2005, 12:51 PM amalyntor -
::rubs hands together and laughs maniacally::
Mama likes!!!!!:clapping:
elfdream 09-29-2005, 01:34 PM I'm still leaning towards she's a plant.
amalyntor 09-29-2005, 02:16 PM elfdream...would she be of the flowering variety or perhaps just a nice shrubbery? HAHAHAHA
Perhaps you're correct...that would make for an interesting episode!
lostwithoutlost 09-29-2005, 02:42 PM On the Jin thing, here's what doesn't make sense to me. At the end of last season he jumps into the water to save Sawyer. He wouldn't just swim away or float away without (1) trying to save Sawyer, and (2) without them seeing him. Something is up with this IMHO.

Well..I could have said she's a mole..but that would have led to other jokes. :)

I agree with this. Why did he came to the beach with the tailenders? Why didn't they just keep him in the hole? It looked like he was nice and dry so he must have been there for a little while. Plus if he was caught in a current then Jin would have arrived at the beach at the same time Sawyer and Michael did. This has been eating at me since this episode aired. I'm not sure what all this means but its worth some speculation. Any takers?
