I mean, even if, somewhere down the line, they revealed that there was a patrolling boat, or a floating facility, or a giant hatch sticking out of the water... What are they going to say? "Look back in previous episodes. You can see it". Well, I see 5 pixels or so that might be ... something. This is WAY too subtle to be intentional, and WAY to ambiguous to ever possibly be evidence of anything. It was just a goof.
