I got these rating numbers from media week
A repeat of the Lost season-premiere opened the evening with a first-place 7.7/12 in the overnights, 11.53 million viewers and a 4.1/12 among adults 18-49. Yes, a repeat of Lost won the 8 p.m. hour against original competition on four of the five competing networks! That led into week two of Lost at a whopping 14.9/21 in overnights, 22.66 million viewers and a 9.4/23 among adults 18-49 from 9-10 p.m., easily the most-watched and highest-rated program of the evening.

What is funny is the radio promo for NBC that I heard yesterday. They have one everyday with a few people talking about the shows that will be on that night, kind of like they are at the water cooler at work.
When the got to E-Ring they said something along the lines of how good the first episode was. And how it was so exciting how they saved the spy at the end. Then one of the guys says that this week they are going to rescue the views from Lost, and all the implausable story lines.
It shocked me that they were taking Lost on head on like that in the commercial. And especially funny since Lost, not suprisingly, kicked it's butt in ratings.
Any way, just thought that was a funny commercial.
