Not sure if this was mentioned previously, but throw the numbers into Google Maps using 4.815 162.342. See what you get.

JAZZYJ 10-04-2005, 04:34 PM If you go back in one of the season 1 episodes, right after the numbers were revealed to us, someone added like a zero and then put all the numbers into mapquest and it comes up with a location somewhere between Australlia and LA in the Pacific. It's pretty cool. See what you get. Hmm, by putting in the word "coordinates" into the search feature I came up with 3 pages of prior listings of this tidbit. Included were these from March: http://www.thefuselage.com/Threaded/showthread.php?t=8505&highlight=coordinates http://www.thefuselage.com/Threaded/showthread.php?t=7724&highlight=coordinates Also, the N.U.M.B.E.R.S. folks have done an exhaustive review of this and other very interesting features of the numbers. It merits a read through if you are interested. |
