Hey all, I was reading another thread when a thought occured to me. What if the plane crashed because the Others (and possibly Desmond) needed supplies? What if the reason the Black Rock is on the island is because they were building the hatch and needed digging supplies? There was mining equipment and men to work on board. This would mean there would have to be something strange going on with time, if you include the Black Rock. If its just the plane, then maybe the Others have found a way to get what they need, sorta like pirates. Now this does not explain the plane full of drugs, mind you, but my basic theory is the Others needed supplies and crashed the plane.
