I noticed that when Desmond types in the 'numbers' in MOS/MOF he uses the space bar in between each number. In Adrift when he has Locke enter them in we can see that Locke uses no space bar at all.
This may mean nothing at all, but it could mean that the there are two different computers. Or that it is two different times, as is being discussed in other threads.
I didn't see this posted anywhere else, and thought it was a interesting. Curious what others think?

Yeah, this was mentioned somewhere in other threads, but I don't recall it being in the context of the different time frames - more 2 computers. I think it fits well with the 2 time periods :)
there are two computers... one is in the room where desmond awakens. this is where he types the numbers. locke types the numbers on the computer in the dome-like room.

since we never see both computers at the same time might that then imply that the two different computers are in two different locations because they are two different time periods? when thought about in the context of other differences, i.e., the lamp and the change in the appearance of the storage closet i think it just firms up the whole different time period thing.
good catch.

Yeah... I noticed this too (I made it the password to get into my laptop after MOS/MOF)
I just think it was an error on their part, the writers were just trying to create the suspense of Desmond telling Locke the numbers. It would be less suspenseful if he said "Ok... type 4, space, 8, space, 15, space... etc..."
It would just be wordy.

And Jedi-Moment...the quote in your sig should be this:
"You should know, the gun is really unnecessary."
"Oh yeah? So I should just hand it over to you then, should i?"
Sorry...but nothing drives me crazier than misquoting. Especially if someone likes it enough to put it as their sig. and they get it wrong, it's like WTF?
Just thought you'd wanna know.

I apologize.
1. I knew the quote was wrong, so I was going to watch the episode again this morning to get it right.
2. I was just trying to work out this new board format because I'm used to TFN and all that IGN style boards. So I was experimenting with my sig: it was only a temp thing until I was able to fix it this morning.
Once again, I am really sorry because I understand just how pissed off you should be.
