I personally think he's hotter than Charlie, but not than Sawyer. Sawyer's 1 in hottness, man.

I also like that he's very athletic and daring. Oh, and the "brother" thing is also hot for some reason!

Hot isn't the word I'd use. I got more of a cute, sweet, adorable, cuddly, teddy-bearish vibe from him. I just really liked him/felt sorry for him. The accent and the smile are definitely sexy, though.

For me, Desmond has some bad-boy appeal. He's not the hottest one of the show but he has a great deal of potential.

Desmond is the BEST character on the show! I love Locke but once Desmond came on the scene ... it was bye-bye to all the rest! :biggrin: Ian's a fantastic actor and he brings Desmond to life! Handsome, charming, manly and yet with a gentle side. What more could a gal ask for? I'm hooked ... BIG time!!

Any Desmond fans that haven't already, come join T.D.C.S. -- The Desmond Clan Ship. Ian has even posted there! And please sign the petition to bring Desmond back to LOST! Both links are in my siggy.

He has a certain intensity in is eyes. Not classically handsome but definitley interesting.... quirky. A lot like Dom/Charlie. I mostly dig Desmond as a character not as a sex symbol.

I love Desmond. He's so sweet (well, when he's had enough sleep), and somehow manages to be hot even when he's pointing a gun and yelling at people. If it had been anyone else pointing a gun at Locke (whom I love) I would have hated them, but HIC is so great as Desmond I just can't help but love him.

Desmond the character is a bit disheveled-looking, but he seems like a sweet guy, and he is good looking beneath the tired eyes and dirt...
