I guess this hasn't been discussed yet!

So.. what do you think?

I think it's kind of crazy for him to say that because he can't exactly run to anywhere else. They are on an island after all.

I'm still convinced he's saying "See you in an other life."

True. I can see that too. But he repeated it again. Unless this is his little catch phrase. Like "see you later, alligator!"

Yep, that's kinda ironic since they have no where else to go now...Or do they?

I really think it is just his catch phrase. Nothing that has any relation to the "Others" He may not even know of their existance.

It doesn't really matter if he thinks he has somewhere to go or not, remember he believes that with the computer broken they are all going to die anyway so when he says see you in another life he could mean because they are all about to die.

...or it's just a hint from the writers that we'll see more of Desmond later on : )

I know people who have used this expression when a relationship is ending or saying goodbye to someone you think you'll never see again. While I'm not sure of its significance to the storyline, I think it speaks to the more spirtitual, faith-based mindset Desmond has over Jack's science based, as well as showing that he thinks of Jack as a "brother" in some capacity. You would not say this to someone who has no importance to your life.

Last time he said that it was extremely unlikely that they would ever meet again
now it is extremely unlikely they will ever meet again IE that when someone says they are gone they usually dont show up until want to.
So that confims that there will be more Desmond *YAY*

I think since it ended up having a significance the last time he said it, it will this time as well. Or why else have him say it again.

Plus they are on an island with apparantly no way to leave, he cant go to far :)
