This is my first time posting here after lurking for almost a week! MAN I love this place! Okay.. so here are my thoughts.

I see most, if not all, of you believe Walt has some special abilities. (ie. clairvoyance, ESP)

In the first episode of Season 2, Shannon sees Walt (a wet Walt) in the forest. Is it possible he used a form of telepathy? Something only she could see? Does this mean that Shannon might have telepathic abilities too since she was the only one who saw him? And in the first season (I don't recall which episode.. but I think it was the 2nd one) the dog is missing and Michael said he'll go look for him as soon as it stopped raining. The rain IMMEDIATELY stopped. At first I thought that was just freakish timing, but what if Walt has some ability to control the weather too?

Your thoughts? Am I stuck in the dark ages? Is this old news? Enlighten me please!

Suzanne

Boone did say last season that Shannon was "special" but he never said exactly in what way.

:ohwell:

One of the Hanso Foundation's projects(http://www.thehansofoundation.org/activeproject.html) has to do with Remote Viewing, which would explain Walt. In another thread someone theorized that the women and bearded man on the boat are the same as the ones in the orientation video, which would make the connection even stronger. IE they are using Walt as a test subject for that project.

(Also, when looking at the site mouse over under the last project. "Dharma Initiative" shows up.)

Goggled Dharma Initiative and found this, link is inactive but it may have some meaning in Buddhism.
