I think all the beach people came to the caves as part of the "Follow whatever Jack says" evacuation plan when the Others were supposed to come wreck destruction and murder.

this is totally going to drive the group into three factions. The beachdwellers, the cavedwellers and the hatch, er, dwellers.

I imagine the hatch would be where everyone went to wash up and the such and they just put different teams in there everyday to watch the numbers.

I for one would fight for it...airconditioning...bathrooms...soft bed...

seemed reasonable right? if the caves, many thought would be a better place to live, imagine how many would think the hatch would be like paradise compared to the caves. but then some would object cuz theyd wait for rescue and such so theres now a division

Oh, I think it's because Charlie feels like nobody is telling him about the hatch and Hurley keeps the food a secret. Charlie gets mad and says to Hurley " I thought you were my friend. " but you maybe already knew that ! :)

They find a hatch and no one insists of going to see it other then those how Jack wants to see it or those needed like Sayid. If I'm on that beach and I find out there a hatch, heck if I'm stayin on the beach. Forget a place to stay... Its called curiousity. THey all just take Jacks instructions like a bunch of trained dogs... Its so annoying. The castaways need to get a spine. Hopefully they get it next week.

I'm not arguing that they went to the beach. But as this is the day after they were all to be gathered at the caves and I didn't see anyone pitching tents quite yet and they're still supposed to be rather frightened of the Others (despite Charlie demanding that there are no Others), I still think the Lostaways are still one group at Camp Lostaway. Just some of the Lostaways are presently in the hatch, some are presently held captive on another part of the island...

...and the hatch, er, dwellers.

I prefer to call them the hatchlings :biggrin:
