The movie was titled "3 of 6: Orientation"
And yes, the Swan is Station 3, but that's all we got. Nothing tied the two together other than the number three.
My initial interpretation was that the film we saw was 3 of 6.
I would think there was also an "3 of 6: Orientation" film for station 2, and a "1 of 6 Introduction" film for each station as well.
maybe the films were something like:
Introduction
History
Orientation
Maintenance
Tansition
Debriefing

At first I also thought I must mean that there are 6 stations, but now I am leaning towards your theroy. There must be more films... I guess we will see.

No, I believe they are more stations dealing with other types of research. The orintation filmed contained an introductiuon and backgroud history. I feel the film gave us to much info.

I initially thought that this was Orientation film 3 and that there were 5 other orientation films in the set. Now not so sure.
I initally though of the one theory of a B F Skinner type of experiment. The hatch would be called Station #3 which would imply that there were at least two other stations doing the same thing I was. It would give the participants a bit more comfort knowing that they were not alone. Now we find out that Calvin/Kelvin was alone.
What happened to his partner? Did they become sick? Was it Ethan?

I think that the video meant three of the six stations, because in the video, they describe the other stations. I don't remember if they actually describe six stations, but with the information we were provided with, I am led to believe there are more stations on the island.

The main things that makes me believe this are the shark with the not-Dharma symbol on it, the cable running into the ocean, the 3 of 6 in the film, that our Hatch is #3, the list of Active Projects on thehansofoundation.org, the reference in the film to large-scale research facilities, and that the film shows that they were possibly researching polar bears (implying it was done on the same island as #3 Swan).
That's a lot of support for the idea to me.
