I know that this has been discussed before, but this leads into another thought. Lockes Dad may play an important role in the project, such as funding the project.
He also at one point may have been involved in being a test subject on the medications (drugs) that we have seen. He did receive a new kidney from Locke, which one theory is that the medication had damaged his kidney. Eventually the laboratory finally got the formulation correct and his dad was already in need of a new kidney. I would like to find out more about Lockes dad or other family members...
