but in an article in TV Guide (after season 1 finale) I think it was JJ that said that Arzt was coming back to the show, and he's not the on;y start "packing for a long stay in Hawaii" so, you know tis gunna be more than just flashbacks

he might be connected to the other survivors.

There might be a little piece of him in each of the LOSTAWAYS lives.

I think he was all over Hurley in the season 2 premiere. He will no longer be on the show now that Rose has discovered the washing machine. She will wash him away from everyones memory!

He could be in flashbacks to post-crash events on the island that took place before he asploded.

I miss him too! I hope that he will be in some flashbacks, so we can learn about his character a little more and his relationships with the other characters before his untimely demise.

Artz (formally known as Arzt) from his appearence he looked more like he belonged with the newly discovered survivors

maybe Boone will come back

Ya know how Dr Shephard senior was seen by Jack a few times .. and his coffin was empty. .

Either
1) The body was never allowed onboard!
2) Jack was completely hallucinating, or
3) He was reanimated / brought to life by the island

maybe .. in the same way Locke can walk

Its possible. As we have seen in other episodes, certain characters' perceptions of what is actually real can be somewhat skewed.

tho jack did identify his body

LostElphie1287

Because Jack is a doctor, it would seem that he would know if Boone was dead or not. unless it is some elaborate scheme between the two, but that seems a bit farfetched.

Has anyone made this connection yet:

This Dr. Arzt even looks like the actor that plays Arzt on tv:

Here's an interesting paper by Christopher Arzt (and the Randall Laboratory of Physics (University of Michigan)) (BTW, in the beginning of the orientation film, from what university were the DeGroots from?)

Happy Reading.
